Park Bo Gum is getting serious about boxing for his new role — but his good looks might be too much for the ring!

On June 13, a new video was released on the YouTube channel Zip Daesung, featuring the main cast of JTBC’s upcoming weekend drama Good Boy.

The video included Park Bo Gum, Kim So Hyun, Lee Sang Yi, Heo Sung Tae, and Tae Won Seok, giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at their fun chemistry.

Good Boy is a youth crime-action comedy about former medal-winning athletes who are specially recruited into the police force.

Each of them comes from a different sport — from fencing to wrestling — and together, they fight for justice in their own unique way. Park Bo Gum plays the role of a former boxing champion.

During the video, the cast members were talking about their sports when the staff surprised Park Bo Gum by bringing out a sandbag for him to try. He looked a little shy at first, but the rest of the cast got excited.

Heo Sung Tae joked, “This might explode.” Daesung added playfully, “Well, he is a gold medalist after all.” Tae Won Seok warned, “Daesung, be careful. You might get hurt!”

After Bo Gum threw a few punches, everyone was impressed. Daesung praised, “He actually has quite a bit of power.” Bo Gum smiled shyly and shook his head, but Tae Won Seok teased, “Honestly, it doesn’t make sense for a boxer to be this good-looking.”

Daesung continued the joke, saying, “At this level, he’d need to wear a huge headgear — just to stay safe.” Tae Won Seok added, “The country needs to protect him.”

At one point, Lee Sang Yi, while looking at Daesung, said, “Hyung, you’re really cool. You really seem like a YouTuber. I learned how it’s done.”

With his charm, boxing skills, and visuals, Park Bo Gum is already raising excitement for Good Boy — and fans are more than ready to see this “too handsome boxer” in action.
