On June 12, ADOR, the agency behind the mega-popular girl group NewJeans, officially kicked off its global search to form a brand-new next-generation boy group.
The company announced the “2025 ADOR BOYS GLOBAL AUDITION” through its official website and social media accounts. With the subtitle “All Doors Open Right here,” ADOR shared that this audition is all about opening the door to new dreams and opportunities.
Male applicants born in 2006 or later are welcome to apply — no experience needed, just passion and talent. The first round of online applications runs from June 12 until 5 PM KST on July 2.
Unlike other auditions with strict categories, ADOR is keeping it open to all kinds of talent. Singing, dancing, rapping, acting, songwriting, composing, vlogging, photography — anything creative goes! A rep from ADOR said, “We hope many talented and passionate people knock on the ‘door’ to follow their dreams.”
If you pass the first round, you’ll be invited to an in-person audition in one of 9 cities in South Korea (including Seoul, Busan, and Jeju) or 18 global cities such as Tokyo, Los Angeles, Bangkok, New York, Toronto, Sydney, and more.
This massive audition shows that ADOR is aiming big — possibly creating a boy group with the same global impact as NewJeans.
