BLINKs, get ready — BLACKPINK’s long-awaited comeback is finally happening!
Over the weekend, BLACKPINK was spotted filming a new music video in Seoul, raising excitement among fans worldwide. On June 9, YG Entertainment confirmed the news, saying the girls officially began shooting the MV on June 6.
This marks their first group comeback in 2 years and 8 months, making it a major moment for fans who’ve been waiting patiently.

YG shared,
“We are working with a famous overseas director and filming in Korea. This will be another iconic music video that shows BLACKPINK’s unique style and sound. Since this is a special project that fits BLACKPINK’s global status, fans can really look forward to it.”
While the song’s title, release date, and concept are still under wraps, the start of MV filming makes it clear that the comeback is very near.
This comeback follows a promise from executive producer Yang Hyun Suk, who previously said that BLACKPINK would release new music soon. It looks like he meant it.
BLACKPINK has made history with every release, breaking records and topping charts around the world. Whether as a group or through solo activities, each member has continued to shine, and this upcoming comeback is expected to make a huge impact once again.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK is also preparing for a world tour starting in July, kicking off with a concert in Goyang. The tour will cover 31 shows in 16 cities, including stadium performances in Los Angeles, New York, Paris, London, Tokyo, Bangkok, and more.
With new music and a massive global tour coming soon, it’s safe to say BLACKPINK is back and ready to take over the world again!
