Actor So Ji Sub is absolutely loving married life!

On June 6, Netflix Korea dropped a fun new video on their official YouTube channel featuring So Ji Sub and fellow actor Jo Han Chul, who both star in the new Netflix series Mercy for None. They joined MCs Jonathan and Yoo Byung Jae for a movie club-style chat.

During the talk, So Ji Sub opened up about many things—including his past as a rapper. He shared, “Not long ago, my office friend Taecyeon made a song. "

"So, Taecyeon, Cha Hak Yeon, and I performed together in Japan as ‘So-Ok-Cha.’ That name comes from our surnames: So, Ok (Taecyeon's real surname), and Cha.”

When Yoo Byung Jae asked him, “I’ve always wondered—how did you fall in love with rap?” So Ji Sub answered honestly, saying, “I liked rap. But I’m not good at singing. I started writing songs because I wanted to sing for my fans when I meet them."

He added, "Even if I’m not that good, I wanted to perform. That’s how new songs are born—because I want to meet fans.”

Then came the topic everyone was curious about—married life.

With a big smile, So Ji Sub said he’s “1000% satisfied” with being married. “I totally recommend it. Being together is way better than being alone,” he said, showing his deep love for his wife Jo Eun Jung.

So Ji Sub married Jo Eun Jung, a former TV reporter who is 17 years younger than him, in 2020. Fans can catch him again in the action-packed Netflix series Mercy for None, which premiered on June 6.
