Brave Girls’ Minyoung is stirring up some romance talk after revealing her ideal type—someone who sounds a lot like host Yoo Min Sang!
On June 4, Brave Girls members Minyoung, Eunji, and Yuna appeared on SBS LOVE FM’s Yoo Min Sang’s Hungry Radio to promote their new remake single Hopeful Wish.
Minyoung shared, “The original Hopeful Wish was sung by senior Byun Jin Sub from a man’s point of view, but we rewrote it from a woman’s perspective. It shows our ideal types.”
Host Yoo Min Sang, a known Brave Girls fan, playfully responded, “As someone who likes Brave Girls, I’ll check how many parts match with me.”
When asked about their real-life ideal types, the members didn’t hold back.
Yuna said, “I like someone tall who loves animals.”
Eunji shared, “Someone I can depend on and trust.”
Then Minyoung caught attention by saying, “I like shy people. I think introverted guys are really cute. I’m fine with confessing first too.”
Yoo Min Sang joked, “I’m shy. I’m also tall and dependable. You three might end up fighting over me,” making everyone laugh in the studio.
With Minyoung’s comment matching Yoo Min Sang’s traits, fans quickly began speculating about possible sparks flying—especially since this comes after her breakup with rapper Verbal Jint.
Back in 2023, Minyoung and Verbal Jint were confirmed to have been dating for two years before ending their relationship. His agency shared at the time, “Minyoung and Verbal Jint were in a relationship for two years but have now broken up.”
Meanwhile, Brave Girls released their remake single Hopeful Wish on May 29, continuing their journey with a fresh sound and fan support.
