OH MY GIRL’s Yooa has officially signed an exclusive contract with Saram Entertainment to begin her acting career.

On June 2, Saram Entertainment shared, “We have signed an exclusive contract with Yooa. She is an artist full of talent and endless potential.

We are very happy to support her as she starts her acting journey. We will do our best to help her succeed in many different fields.”

Yooa first debuted in 2015 as a member of the girl group OH MY GIRL. She won many fans with popular songs like Secret Garden, Nonstop, Dolphin, and Dun Dun Dance.

She was also the first member of the group to begin a solo career, releasing her solo mini albums Bon Voyage in 2020, Selfish, and the single album Borderline.

Now, after gaining attention as a singer and solo artist, Yooa is ready to take on acting. She will soon appear in the crime drama film Project Y (working title). The story is about Miseon and Dokyung, two people who only have each other. They try to escape a harsh reality by stealing hidden black money and gold bars.

Many fans are excited to see Yooa grow and shine in her new role as an actress.
