Kim So Hyun says she totally forgot dancing on stage with Hyeri for Girl’s Day’s ‘Darling’ 11 years ago.
On May 30, actress Kim So Hyun made fans laugh and relate with her candid confession about a past performance she doesn't even remember.
In a new video uploaded to Hyeri’s official YouTube channel, Park Bo Gum and Kim So Hyun appeared as guests to promote their new JTBC drama Good Boy.
During the fun and casual chat, Hyeri brought up a memory from 2014 when she and Kim So Hyun performed Girl’s Day’s hit song “Darling” together at the MBC Entertainment Awards.
Kim So Hyun reacted with a surprised laugh, saying, “I was the MC for Music Core at the time, and I danced ‘Darling’ with you… but I don’t remember it at all.”
Hyeri praised her, replying, “You danced so well! And your singing too—seriously!”
Park Bo Gum couldn’t help but join in with a playful joke, saying, “Let’s check the footage!” while pretending to be a variety show MC, making everyone burst into laughter.
When they watched the video clip together, Hyeri recalled, “She really did so well. People even said she looked like a real Girl’s Day member.”
Kim So Hyun then confessed, “As soon as I got on stage, everything just went white. It was my first time experiencing something like that. When it ended, I was like, ‘Wait, did I even perform?’ They told me I did, but I had no memory until I watched the show later.”
Hyeri also remembered that comedian Jung Jun Ha had joined them on that special stage.
Later in the video, Hyeri playfully suggested that Kim So Hyun and Park Bo Gum could do a duet stage now, saying, “So Hyun is really good at dancing. I’ve seen it!”
Park Bo Gum agreed and added, “Her voice is really nice. Her tone is great when she acts and sings.”
Kim So Hyun smiled and answered sweetly, “If you ask me to do it, I’ll do my best.”
Meanwhile, their upcoming drama Good Boy premieres on May 31. The show tells the story of former national athletes who become special police officers and team up to fight injustice in society.
