BTS member Jungkook just set another jaw-dropping record—and fans can’t stop celebrating!

On May 31, Billboard revealed that Jungkook’s mega-hit solo track Seven continues to dominate globally, even 10 months after its release. The song ranked #157 on the Global 200 and #82 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart this week.

With these new placements, Seven has now stayed on the Billboard Global 200 for 96 weeks and on the Global Excl. U.S. chart for 97 weeks. This makes Jungkook the first and longest-charting Asian solo artist to ever achieve this milestone on both major Billboard charts!

According to Billboard’s official site, across all his solo releases, Jungkook has now appeared on the Global 200 for a total of 231 weeks and the Global Excl. U.S. chart for 280 weeks—an incredible record that keeps growing.

That’s not all—Jungkook is breaking records on Spotify too. Seven has now ranked on Spotify’s Weekly Top Songs Global chart for 98 straight weeks, making him the first and longest-running Asian solo artist to ever do so.

His solo album GOLDEN, which dropped in November 2023, is also making waves. It has stayed on Spotify’s Weekly Top Albums Global chart for 81 weeks, again setting the record for the longest-charting album by an Asian soloist.

And the numbers keep rising—Seven has now surpassed 2.36 billion streams on Spotify, making it the fastest and first song by an Asian solo act to hit that number.

Adding to his list of achievements, Jungkook recently took home four awards at the 2025 BMI Pop Awards, making him the most-awarded K-pop soloist in the award show’s history.

With all these records and wins, it’s clear Jungkook’s global power isn’t slowing down anytime soon!
