I-DLE’s Miyeon and Yuqi opened up about their roommate preferences, and their answers had everyone laughing!
On May 29, a new episode of Cho Hyun A’s Ordinary Thursday Night was released on YouTube, featuring Miyeon and Yuqi as special guests. During the episode, they talked about their experiences traveling abroad and sharing hotel rooms.
Miyeon said both she and Yuqi are extroverts, according to their MBTI types. “Since we're both E types, we like being with others. We don’t like having a room to ourselves,” Miyeon explained.
“But the only ones who feel that way are the two of us… and we don’t want to share a room together,” she added, making everyone burst into laughter.
When asked who her favorite roommate is, Miyeon picked Soyeon. “It’s fun to talk with Soyeon, so I want to share a room with her,” Miyeon said. “When we’re together, she plays with me a lot… then suddenly puts on her earphones.”
Miyeon admitted that she was a little hurt at first. “I thought we were having a great conversation, but suddenly she put on her earphones. I wondered, ‘Was it only fun for me?’” she said honestly. “But now that I understand her personality better, it’s fine. It actually feels just right.”
Yuqi also shared her favorite roommate—Minnie! “We leave the room at the same time, and we both like to talk. We chat about fun stuff and life in general,” Yuqi shared.
However, Yuqi had a similar experience to Miyeon. “I got blocked too,” she laughed. “Minnie unnie said later that she wanted her own room. She plays with me first, then suddenly wants to be alone.”
Fans are loving the girls’ honesty and fun chemistry—even when it comes to needing personal space!
