BTS’ long wait is almost over — all members finish military duty and get ready for epic reunion

The moment ARMY has been waiting for is almost here — BTS is getting ready to reunite as the members complete their military duties this June!

RM and V will officially be discharged on June 10, followed by Jimin and Jungkook on June 11. SUGA, who is currently serving as a social service worker, is set to wrap up his service on June 21.

With this, BTS’s military era — which started in December 2022 when Jin enlisted — is finally coming to an end. Jin and J-Hope, who completed their service earlier, have already been promoting as solo artists.

Even while serving, BTS's global popularity stayed strong. The members released solo albums, collaborated with global artists, and continued to make headlines worldwide. Their influence never faded — in fact, it only proved how powerful BTS is, even during a group hiatus.

Now, all eyes are on the group's full comeback. Industry insiders and fans alike are eagerly watching for news on when BTS will resume group activities.

Rumors say it could be as early as the end of 2025 or the first half of 2026. With millions of fans cheering them on, expectations are sky-high for what kind of music and performances the boys will deliver next.

At HYBE’s shareholder meeting in March, CEO Lee Jae Sang shared, “After completing their service, the members will need time to prepare for their return."

He added, "The company is working with top-level songwriters, but the members also need space to carefully plan their next chapter.”

No official comeback date has been announced yet, but one thing’s for sure — the countdown to BTS’s legendary return has officially begun!
