Actress Moon Hee Kyung is mourning the sudden passing of veteran actor Choi Jung Woo.
On May 27, Moon Hee Kyung took to social media to express her grief, writing, “May he rest in peace,” alongside a photo of her with Choi Jung Woo from their time together.
She added, “Senior Choi Jung Woo gave me strength just by being on the same filming set. It’s so sad that we won’t be able to see his acting anymore. Please rest peacefully now. I will miss you a lot.”
Choi Jung Woo sadly passed away on May 27 at the age of 68. The exact cause of death has not been shared.
His funeral is being held at Gimpo Woori Hospital Funeral Hall in Gyeonggi Province. The burial is scheduled for 10 a.m. on May 29 at Suwon Yeonhwa Cemetery.
Fans and fellow actors continue to mourn the loss of the respected star, known for his warm presence both on and off screen.
