• IVE’s Gaeul to throw her first-ever baseball pitch at huge LG vs Hanwha game

IVE’s Gaeul is heading to the baseball field!

On May 27, Gaeul will throw the ceremonial first pitch for the LG Twins vs Hanwha Eagles game at Jamsil Baseball Stadium in Seoul. The match is part of the 2025 Shinhan SOL Bank KBO League and is one of the most exciting games this season.

This is Gaeul’s first time ever throwing the first pitch at a pro baseball game, and fans are already excited to see her in action. Since it’s a home game for the LG Twins, many fans are calling her their “victory fairy,” hoping her appearance will bring good luck to the team.

The timing couldn’t be better — both the LG Twins and the Hanwha Eagles are currently top contenders in the league. As of May 22, LG is leading the rankings with 31 wins, 1 draw, and 16 losses, while Hanwha is close behind in 2nd place with 29 wins and 19 losses, just 2.5 games apart.

The game is expected to be a heated battle, and Gaeul’s appearance is adding even more excitement to the already intense matchup.

Gaeul debuted as a member of IVE in 2021, and the group has quickly risen to the top of the K-pop scene with hits like “Eleven,” “Love Dive,” “After Like,” “I AM,” and “Kitsch.” IVE recently became million sellers with their 3rd mini album “IVE Switch,” and the title tracks “Accendio” and “Attitude” are currently making waves on the charts.

With her growing popularity and charming visuals, fans can’t wait to see how Gaeul will shine on the pitcher’s mound. Will she bring victory to the LG Twins?

Stay tuned for the first pitch.
