• Jung Kyung Ho can’t stop talking about Choi Soo Young even after being warned not to - Here's Why

Jung Kyung ho isn’t afraid to show his love for his longtime girlfriend, Girls’ Generation’s Choi Soo young — even when his agency told him not to talk about her.

On May 12, a new episode of Salty Brother Shin Dong Yeob was uploaded to YouTube with a fun title: “No dialogue in this episode. Just Jung Kyung ho LOL (He had his own worldview).” The actor appeared on the show alongside co-stars Seol In Ah and Cha Hak Yeon to promote their new drama Labor Attorney Noh Moo Jin.

Right at the start, host Shin Dong Yeob warned cast member Jung Ho Chul, “Don’t bring up Kyung ho’s girlfriend. The agency told us not to.” But Jung Kyung ho didn’t hold back.

“It’s fine to talk about her,” he said casually. “It would feel weird not to. I don’t have anything else to brag about.”

The comment made everyone laugh, and Shin Dong Yeob joked, “I’m going to start using that line. I only brag about my wife too.”

Later in the episode, as drinks flowed and the mood got deeper, the conversation turned to Jung Kyung ho’s famous father, legendary producer Jung Eul Young.

“My dad didn’t really approve of me becoming an actor at first,” Jung Kyung ho shared. “And honestly, I messed around a lot in my younger years. I wasn’t focused. But Soo young grounded me. If it wasn’t for her, I probably would’ve become a worse actor. Maybe someone people wouldn’t respect.”

He continued, “She keeps me centered. I’m still silly sometimes, but I really think she’s someone I’m thankful for—just like my dad.”

As he tried to explain more, things got a bit confusing. Seol In Ah asked, “Wait, am I drunk or was that hard to follow?” Jung laughed and said, “I’m all over the place, right?”

Jung Ho Chul added, “Even though it was a bit messy, one thing was clear—without Soo young, you wouldn’t be the same.”

Seol In Ah tried to get more clarity, asking, “So you want to try a lot of things, but Soo young helps you stay on track?”

Jung Kyung ho responded, “Yeah... I think it’s about how I express myself in acting. She helps guide me, maybe?”

Shin Dong Yeob then jokingly said, “Remember Ha Jung Woo’s movie Rollercoaster? You played that wild character Ma Joon Gyu? Without Soo young, you’d be just like him.”

Kyung ho laughed in embarrassment, “Come on! I was pouring my heart out and that’s your summary?”

But everyone laughed, and Shin Dong Yeob grinned, “Hey, it was a clean summary!”

One thing’s for sure — Jung Kyung ho might be a little clumsy with his words, but his love for Soo young came through loud and clear.
