The show is also gaining a lot of attention for its strong ratings. Episode 8 recently reached its highest viewership yet, with a 6.4% average in Seoul and a peak of 7.4%. Nationwide, it hit 6% average and 6.7% peak, placing it at number one in its time slot across all cable and general channels.
Among viewers aged 20–49, Resident Playbook is also the top-performing show, showing its strong popularity with younger audiences. It also ranked #1 in drama buzz for three weeks straight, with lead actors Go Youn Jung and Jung Joon Won topping the actor rankings.
With just a few episodes left, fans are now eagerly waiting to see what roles Jo Jung Seok and Jeon Mi Do will play and how they’ll interact with the new generation of Yulje Hospital doctors.
