• Shin Min Ah and Kim Woo Bin make rare public appearance together on Buddha’s Birthday

Top stars Shin Min Ah and Kim Woo Bin continue to prove they’re one of the most solid celebrity couples in Korea.

On May 8, Korean media outlet SPOTV News reported that Shin Min Ah and Kim Woo Bin were seen visiting the Jeongto Society Cultural Center in Seocho-dong, Seoul, on May 5 in honor of Buddha’s Birthday.

The center is run by Jeongto Society, a Buddhist group led by the well-known monk Beop Ryun. The couple’s peaceful and respectful appearance on such a meaningful day quickly caught attention from people nearby. According to witnesses, they greeted staff warmly and didn’t seem to mind the attention from others.

Shin Min Ah and Kim Woo Bin confirmed their relationship back in 2015. Despite being two of the most in-demand stars in the industry, they’ve kept their romance strong and private for nearly 10 years. Fans often praise them as a “role model couple” for how they handle both work and love with sincerity.

Also spotted at the cultural center that day was actor Jo In Sung, who is known to be a close friend of Kim Woo Bin. Jo In Sung has a long history with the Jeongto Society and monk Beop Ryun. He first got connected with them after appearing in writer Noh Hee Kyung’s 2013 drama That Winter, the Wind Blows. Since then, he has continued to join Jeongto Society events, including the youth event Youth Talk Talk, which he attended again this year. Writer Noh Hee Kyung was also present at the event.

This isn’t the first time Jo In Sung and Kim Woo Bin have attended Buddhist events together — they were previously seen together at a Buddha’s Birthday celebration in 2019 as well.

Meanwhile, Kim Woo Bin is busy preparing for his next project — the Netflix series All The Love You Wish For, where he stars alongside Suzy. He also made headlines recently for attending the wedding of Our Blues writer Jung Eun Hye.

Shin Min A is also staying active in the acting scene. She received praise for her powerful performance in the Netflix drama A Killer Paradox, and is set to appear in the live-action adaptation of the hit webtoon The Remarried Empress.

  • Lee Hyori breaks down in tears at Kim Jong Min’s wedding – find out why

On the May 7 episode of Channel A’s variety show The Recent Life of Men - Groom’s Class, Kim Jong Min shared heartfelt memories from his wedding day, revealing the touching moment when singer Lee Hyo Ri was brought to tears.

Kim Jong Min opened up about the most emotional part of his wedding—the congratulatory song. He expressed deep gratitude toward singers Lee Juk and Lyn, who performed at the event.

During a conversation with Shin Ji, Kim Jong Min recalled that Lee Hyori couldn’t hold back her tears after hearing Lee Juk’s performance. Shin Ji added, “Lee Hyo Ri unnie cried so much after hearing Lee Juk sunbae’s song.” Kim Jong Min agreed, saying, “Hyo Ri cried a lot” and remembered the moment fondly.

Shin Ji also shared a funny story, mentioning that comedian Yoo Jae Seok joked, “Lee Juk worked harder on the wedding song than on his own concert.” The atmosphere was both emotional and filled with laughter.

However, Kim Jong Min’s wife, who is a huge fan of TVXQ, chose their performance as her favorite. Kim Jong Min revealed, “My wife is a member of TVXQ’s fan club, Cassiopeia.”

Guest Shin Jin Hwa praised TVXQ’s dedication, saying, “Two members of TVXQ came all the way from Japan just for the wedding. They went back the very next day. They came just for the wedding's congratulatory song.”

Kim Jong Min laughed as he recalled a surprising moment, saying, “When TVXQ came out to sing, Hiyung (Kim Jong Min’s wife’s nickname) let go of my hand. I was so surprised.”

Kim Jong Min, who tied the knot with a non-celebrity woman 11 years younger than him on April 20, seemed touched by the love and support from his guests, especially the heartfelt performances that made his big day even more special.
