RIIZE is making big moves in the global music scene—becoming the first-ever K-pop idol group to perform at the famous Austin City Limits Music Festival (ACL) in the U.S.

According to their agency, RIIZE will be taking the stage at ACL, which will be held at Zilker Park in Austin, Texas, over two weekends—October 3 to 5 and October 10 to 12. This is a huge milestone, as no K-pop idol group has ever performed at this major American festival before.

Known for their signature “emotional pop” sound and energetic performances, RIIZE is expected to wow the crowd with their powerful stage presence. With the group gaining more global attention, fans are already excited to see how they’ll shine at such a massive event.

The Austin City Limits Music Festival, which began in 2002, is one of the biggest music festivals in the U.S., drawing up to 450,000 people each year. This year’s star-studded lineup includes global names like Sabrina Carpenter, Doja Cat, Doechii, Hozier, Luke Combs, and The Strokes—and now RIIZE joins that list.

This isn’t their first big international moment either. Earlier this year, RIIZE also made history by being the first K-pop act to perform at Mexico’s largest pop festival Tecate Emblema.

They've also appeared at major music festivals in Korea (Busan International Rock Festival), Japan (Summer Sonic), and Thailand (Rolling Loud), proving their rising popularity across the world.

Meanwhile, fans won’t have to wait too long for more from the group. RIIZE is dropping their first full-length album ODYSSEY on May 19 at 6 PM KST on various music platforms. Physical albums will be available that same day.

Are you ready to see RIIZE take over the U.S. festival scene?
