• Park Na Rae explains how her luxury bag helped catch the thief who broke into her house

Park Na Rae recently opened up about a shocking theft that happened at her home—worth 5.5 billion won—and how it all came to light after she found her luxury bag listed at a secondhand store.

On May 7, the comedian uploaded a new video to her YouTube channel Narae's Style, where she reunited with actress Jo Bo Ah. The two got close while filming the variety show From the New World, and this was their first on-camera catch-up in four years.

During their chat, Jo Bo Ah shared that she had been struggling due to her pet’s declining health. Park Na Rae responded with some heartfelt advice, saying, “That’s why it’s important to have someone with you. When someone’s there, strangers won’t come into your home.”

She then sighed and said a lot had happened during their time apart. “Bo Ah even asked me once if I was avoiding her,” Park Na Rae recalled.

Jo Bo Ah mentioned that she had hoped to lean on Na Rae during her appearance on Amazing Saturday.

Park Na Rae explained, “I caught COVID twice. The second time, I couldn’t go on the show. And then something even crazier happened—things were stolen from my house. It was worth tens of millions of won.”

Startled, Jo Bo Ah asked if everything had been recovered. Park Na Rae confirmed, “Yes, I got all my things back last week.” But she also revealed a shocking detail: “They did sell them. I didn’t even realize how quickly my stuff had disappeared.”

She went on to explain how she discovered the theft. “Comedian Kim Ji Min is getting married this July and invited our group to a wedding photoshoot. You know how girls like to dress up for weddings."

She added, "I wanted to carry my most expensive bag that day. But when I went to take it out, it was gone. I checked my other things and realized they were missing too. That’s when I mentally broke down.”

Thankfully, Park Na Rae had a reliable friend who stepped in. “I have a younger friend who’s really persistent. I told them something was missing and I didn’t know what to do. That friend said, ‘It’s 100% at a secondhand luxury store.’ They stayed up all night searching online—and found it. It was my bag. Same color, same model year.”

She immediately reported it to the police, and that’s how the news of the theft became public. “I felt bad because I had promised to meet people and couldn’t show up. At the time, I couldn’t explain everything. But then the articles just kept coming out.”

  • Former S.E.S Shoo brings her twin daughters to a night market and reveals emotional story: “I once sold clothes just to get by”

Former S.E.S member Shoo (Yoo Soo Young) warmed hearts as she shared a touching moment with her twin daughters—taking them to the same wholesale market where she once worked during a difficult time in her life.

On May 8, Shoo posted several photos on Instagram showing her spending time with her twin daughters, Ra Hee and Ra Yul, at the Dongdaemun wholesale market. In the caption, she wrote, “Did everyone enjoy the holiday? I feel like I made a memory I’ll never forget for the rest of my life.”

The photos showed Shoo and her daughters smiling brightly while eating and shopping together. Her daughters, now visibly grown up, were even seen wearing similar shoes and clothes as their mom.

Shoo opened up about a painful chapter in her past. “When I was struggling, I once sold clothes I got from Dongdaemun with the help of a friend,” she shared. “I used to go there from night to early morning, picking up fleece clothes, hairpins, and shoes, thinking, ‘My kids would love this if I brought them here.’”

Now that her daughters are older, Shoo finally fulfilled that dream. “We laughed so much while shopping. We bought hairpins, socks, and clothes together,” she said. “They’ve grown so much—they can even wear the same things as me.”

Reflecting on the experience, she added, “Memories of my past flashed before my eyes. I told them how I used to work late at night, carrying heavy bags and walking around for 10 hours straight.”

Shoo emotionally concluded, “I was so happy to show my kids the nighttime world I once worked in.”

Fans who remember Shoo’s twins from The Return of Superman were touched to see how much they’ve grown. Shoo, now a proud mom of three, continues to update fans through her TV appearances and social media, showing her strength as both a mother and former idol.
