• MEOVV’s Ella says she cried watching 'When Life Gives You Tangerines' and calls Park Bo Gum a real-life Gwan Sik

Girl group MEOVV recently opened up about their deep respect and love for their label senior, Park Bo Gum — and the sweet story is touching fans everywhere.

On April 22, MEOVV members Ella and Narin appeared as guests on the web variety show Salon Drip 2.

During the talk, Ella, who grew up in the U.S., was asked if she watches Korean shows. She answered honestly, saying, “I think I need to watch more. Narin unnie told me I have to watch When Life Gives You Tangerines.”

Narin quickly chimed in, saying, “I recommended it to her, but she still hasn’t watched it. I started crying from episode 1 when I watched it.”

The drama When Life Gives You Tangerines stars Park Bo Gum as the warm and kind Yang Gwan Shik. Coincidentally, both Park Bo Gum and MEOVV are signed under The Black Label.

Ella shyly shared, “I really like Park Bo Gum sunbaenim,” showing her admiration. Narin then revealed, “We had a fitting in the same place, so we see him at the company often. Every time, he greets us with such a bright smile.”

Ella melted hearts when she said, “When we debuted, he even bought us tangerines.” The moment felt just like something his drama character Gwan Shik would do, making fans believe even more that Bo Gum is just as sweet in real life.

Meanwhile, MEOVV is getting ready to return with their new single album HANDS UP, which will drop on April 28. Fans are already excited to see what the rising group has in store next!
