• Han Ga In Spills the Shocking Truth about Her College Love Life and It’s Not Who You Think

    Actress Han Ga In recently looked back on her college days and revealed surprising details about her first love in a new YouTube video.

    On April 10, Han Ga In uploaded a video titled "The Nation’s First Love Han Ga In's True First Love Story Revealed for the First Time (Not Yeon Jung Hoon, Reactions from Junior Students)" on her YouTube channel, 'Free Woman'.

    In the video, Han Ga In revisited her alma mater, Gyeonggi University, for the first time in 20 years. She shared, "I’m from the class of 2001, so that’s 24 years ago," as she took a stroll through the campus, even donning her old school jacket.

    As she walked around, Han Ga In revealed some personal tidbits, including a fun fact about her past. "At the end of the school, there’s the Peace Hall, and next to it is Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. My boyfriend was from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies," she said. When asked if her first love was her current husband, Yeon Jung Hoon, Han Ga In laughed and clarified, "I’ve always said no. Even Yeon knows that."

    She then reminisced about her first boyfriend, saying, "He was always protective of me. There were many male students, and he looked out for me a lot." Han Ga In hinted at her popularity back in the day and added, "I was pretty famous as one of the two top students at Gyeonggi University."

    The actress also shared that her real name is Kim Hyun Joo and joked about a classmate, Lee Hyun Joo, who was also known for her beauty. "If she’s watching, I hope she’ll contact me," Han Ga In said with a smile.

    In her second year of college, Han Ga In made her debut in the entertainment industry as an airline model. She chuckled as she remembered how her class schedule became the talk of the school. "When I went back to school after starting my entertainment career, it was crazy. My class schedule was shared by all the guys, and they followed me around," she revealed.

    Han Ga In didn’t shy away from talking about her wild college days, admitting, "In my first year, I used to drink until 11 a.m. in front of the school. I really drank a lot. I had a mix of soju and beer." However, she also mentioned how life changed after she became famous. "I had fun for about two months, but after I became famous, it was hard to enjoy school," she shared.

    During the show, Lee Jun Young was asked about the most unforgettable villain he’s played. He chose his role as Han Su Gang in the film Brave Citizen.

    He explained, “It was really tough to film. I had to act like I was leading school violence, and there was even a scene where I bullied a grandmother.”

    The hosts were surprised, pointing out how kind and gentle he seems in real life. Lee Jun Young shared how he transforms for such roles.

    “I try to act as bad as I can, but sometimes the director says, ‘You still look too nice.’ Then I focus even harder and adjust right away.”

    He also revealed that filming one particular scene hit him hard emotionally. “My real grandmother was sick at the time,” he said.

    “In one scene, there’s a grandma selling gimbap, and I ad-libbed by stubbing a cigarette out on the gimbap. I was really into character, but after filming, I just broke down. So many thoughts came to me and I started crying.”

    Fans praised his dedication to acting but also felt moved by how deeply the role affected him. Lee Jun Young’s honesty gave a raw look at how even fictional roles can hit close to home.
