• HYBE is making big moves again as Bang Si Hyuk teams up with Ryan Tedder & Scooter Braun to debut a next-gen U.S. boy group

HYBE is officially launching a new boy group in the U.S., and they’ve brought in some of the biggest names in the music industry to make it happen!

On February 21, HYBE announced that Chairman Bang Si Hyuk, HYBE America CEO Scooter Braun, and Grammy-winning producer Ryan Tedder have joined forces to create a next-generation boy group.

To find the perfect members, they’ve opened an official audition website where aspiring stars aged 13 to 23 can apply. Applicants need to submit a profile photo, a self-introduction, and videos showcasing their vocal and dance skills.

All eyes are on whether Bang Si Hyuk’s K-pop system—responsible for launching global stars like BTS—will shake up the U.S. market once again. Last year, HYBE successfully debuted KATSEYE, proving that K-pop’s training and development strategies can thrive in the American music industry.

Ryan Tedder, the mastermind behind hits for Beyoncé, Adele, and Ed Sheeran, is set to bring his expertise to the group’s music production. He has already worked with HYBE artists, contributing to songs like TXT’s Back for More, &TEAM’s Dropkick, and KATSEYE’s Debut.

Scooter Braun, known for managing Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande, will play a key role in discovering and shaping the group’s star power. His industry connections and experience in launching global pop icons make him an essential part of the project.

With HYBE’s artist development expertise, Ryan Tedder’s musical genius, and Scooter Braun’s industry know-how, expectations for this new group are sky-high!

Bang Si Hyuk shared, “HYBE artists have consistently dominated global charts, proving that the K-pop methodology works worldwide. With KATSEYE’s success in the U.S., we’re taking the next step by launching this boy group with Ryan Tedder. We’re excited to continue making history in the music industry.”

Ryan Tedder also expressed his excitement, saying, “This is going to be an amazing journey. We’re building a fan-driven group with top-tier music, and I can’t wait to see it all come together.”

Meanwhile, HYBE’s U.S. girl group KATSEYE is already making waves. Their debut EP SIS (Soft Is Strong) entered the Billboard 200 at No. 119, and their track Touch surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify in just 82 days.

Fans are now eager to see if HYBE’s new boy group will reach similar success.

  • Fans can't stop swooning over BTS's V showing off cherry blossoms and his toned muscles just 40 days before discharge

BTS's V is making his fans fall even more in love with him as he shares moments from his life just 40 days before his military discharge.

On April 30, V posted several new photos on his Instagram story, giving fans a sneak peek into his daily routine.

Among the photos was a beautiful shot of cherry blossoms, accompanied by the word "cherry blossom" as he expressed his longing for spring.

He followed up with more photos, sharing how much he wanted to enjoy the season with his fans.

To make the post even more special, V added background music from BTS member J-Hope's song Sweet Dreams and Design by the American punk band Gustav.

It turns out that Gustav was grateful for V introducing their music to the world and even received fan comments saying they discovered the band through him.

In another adorable photo, V posed with CF director Ray J. Yi (Lee Jun Yeob), with flowers in his hair. The director also shared the cute photo, adding the word "flower" to express how happy he was with the moment.

But it wasn’t all about flowers and beauty—V also gave fans a peek at his workout routine. He proudly showed off his toned arm muscles in a picture, though his face appeared a little thinner.

This is likely due to his diet, as he’s been working hard to maintain his figure ahead of his discharge. Before enlisting, V weighed 62 kg, and during his service, he reached 86 kg. Now, he’s lost 10 kg and is preparing for his return to the public eye.

Interestingly, V has been working out at the same place where singer Kim Jong Kook films his popular YouTube channel Jim Jong Kook, sparking fan excitement and hopes that V might make an appearance on the show after he’s discharged.

As soon as V shared his latest update, his name—"KIM TAEHYUNG"—shot to the top of real-time trending charts worldwide. Fans from all over the globe, including in the U.S., couldn’t get enough of the updates, proving once again the massive impact V has.

He is set to be discharged from the military on June 10, and fans are eagerly awaiting his return.
