• 2PM’s Taecyeon Sparks Engagement Rumors After Viral Paris Photos—But His Agency Says ‘No Wedding Plans Yet’

2PM’s Taecyeon has become the center of engagement rumors after viral photos showed him seemingly proposing to his girlfriend in Paris. However, his agency has shut down the speculation, saying there are no wedding plans yet.

Recently, social media exploded with pictures of Taecyeon in Paris, kneeling in front of his girlfriend and presenting her with a ring. With the romantic Eiffel Tower in the background, he gifted her a luxury ring from brand T, while she covered her mouth in what looked like excitement.

The couple was later spotted holding a bouquet and smiling, with Taecyeon gazing lovingly at his girlfriend as she admired the ring on her finger. The sweet moment quickly spread across online communities, leading fans to believe that the 2PM member had proposed.

Taecyeon has been openly dating his non-celebrity girlfriend since 2020. She is reportedly four years younger than him and works in the corporate world. Over the years, the couple has been seen on casual dates, including outings in Apgujeong Rodeo.

Foreign media also added to the buzz, reporting that the ring Taecyeon gifted was a diamond piece from luxury brand T, allegedly worth 78 million KRW (around 58,000 USD).

However, his agency was quick to clarify the situation. On February 5, 51K Entertainment firmly stated, “It was simply a couple’s photoshoot. Taecyeon did not propose, nor are there immediate wedding plans. He and his girlfriend are in a happy relationship, and while marriage may happen someday when the time is right, there are no plans at the moment.”

Despite the agency’s statement, many fans still believe that wedding bells could be ringing soon for Taecyeon and his girlfriend!

  • Lee Jun Young says he felt guilty and cried after acting mean to a grandma in 'Brave Citizen'

Lee Jun Young recently opened up about the emotional toll of playing a villain—and how one powerful scene made him break down in tears behind the scenes.

On the May 1st episode of KBS 2TV’s variety show Problem Child in House, Lee Jun Young appeared alongside co-star Jung Eun Ji to promote their new KBS drama Pump Up the Healthy Love.

During the show, Lee Jun Young was asked about the most unforgettable villain he’s played. He chose his role as Han Su Gang in the film Brave Citizen.

He explained, “It was really tough to film. I had to act like I was leading school violence, and there was even a scene where I bullied a grandmother.”

The hosts were surprised, pointing out how kind and gentle he seems in real life. Lee Jun Young shared how he transforms for such roles.

“I try to act as bad as I can, but sometimes the director says, ‘You still look too nice.’ Then I focus even harder and adjust right away.”

He also revealed that filming one particular scene hit him hard emotionally. “My real grandmother was sick at the time,” he said.

“In one scene, there’s a grandma selling gimbap, and I ad-libbed by stubbing a cigarette out on the gimbap. I was really into character, but after filming, I just broke down. So many thoughts came to me and I started crying.”

Fans praised his dedication to acting but also felt moved by how deeply the role affected him. Lee Jun Young’s honesty gave a raw look at how even fictional roles can hit close to home.
