    BIGBANG's Daesung recently opened up about the overwhelming love and recognition he’s received after the group’s electrifying performance at the 2024 MAMA Awards.

    On December 27, Daesung shared his thoughts in a video on his YouTube channel, Zip Daesung.

    In the video, Daesung greeted the production team warmly, saying, "It’s been a while. Why does this feel so awkward?" The staff chimed in, "It’s because we haven’t seen you since 'MAMA'!"

    Daesung reflected on how his life changed after the iconic stage. "The way people treat me has completely shifted since 'MAMA.' It’s incredible," he shared.

    "Honestly, I haven’t felt this kind of attention in a long time. Fans from all generations are showering me with love, and I’m so grateful for it."

    The buzz began on November 23 at the 2024 MAMA Awards in Osaka, Japan, when Daesung joined G-Dragon and Taeyang for a long-awaited BIGBANG performance. This marked their first full-group stage since 2017, thrilling VIPs around the world.

    During the show, G-Dragon premiered his new track "Home Sweet Home", with Daesung and Taeyang delivering a powerful collaboration. They followed it up with classic BIGBANG hits like "Fantastic Baby," "Bang Bang Bang," and "Untitled", making it a night to remember.

    G-Dragon also took a moment to thank the fans and YG Family. "BIGBANG has been my home for 17 years, and I’m here because of our VIPs," he said. Adding his signature humor, he teased, "I don’t know if this is an award you can’t win twice, but I’m not missing out next year either!"

    Among the photos was a beautiful shot of cherry blossoms, accompanied by the word "cherry blossom" as he expressed his longing for spring.

    He followed up with more photos, sharing how much he wanted to enjoy the season with his fans.

    To make the post even more special, V added background music from BTS member J-Hope's song Sweet Dreams and Design by the American punk band Gustav.

    It turns out that Gustav was grateful for V introducing their music to the world and even received fan comments saying they discovered the band through him.

    In another adorable photo, V posed with CF director Ray J. Yi (Lee Jun Yeob), with flowers in his hair. The director also shared the cute photo, adding the word "flower" to express how happy he was with the moment.

    But it wasn’t all about flowers and beauty—V also gave fans a peek at his workout routine. He proudly showed off his toned arm muscles in a picture, though his face appeared a little thinner.

    This is likely due to his diet, as he’s been working hard to maintain his figure ahead of his discharge. Before enlisting, V weighed 62 kg, and during his service, he reached 86 kg. Now, he’s lost 10 kg and is preparing for his return to the public eye.

    Interestingly, V has been working out at the same place where singer Kim Jong Kook films his popular YouTube channel Jim Jong Kook, sparking fan excitement and hopes that V might make an appearance on the show after he’s discharged.
