• BLACKPINK’s Rosé Breaks Down in Tears on ‘You Quiz On The Block’: "What If I'm Too Busy to Be with My Parents?"

BLACKPINK’s Rosé got emotional on the latest episode of You Quiz on the Block as she shared her struggles with balancing her busy career and family life.

During the December 11th episode of the tvN show, Rosé, fresh off the success of BLACKPINK's global hit "APT," spoke about her journey and personal challenges.

MC Yoo Jae Suk asked Rosé, who grew up in Australia, how she ended up joining YG Entertainment. Rosé's father, who was present at the filming, recalled how his daughter was always passionate about music. He shared, "Chaeyoung (Rosé's real name) was very talented from a young age. In fourth grade, she would gather her friends and make dance routines."

He encouraged her to pursue her dreams, telling her, "Even if you don’t pass the audition, at least you’ll have the memories. But if you don’t try, you might regret it later. So go for it." Rosé took his advice to heart and eventually passed the grueling 700:1 audition, securing first place and starting her trainee life at YG at just 16.

Later in the interview, Yoo Jae Suk asked about Rosé's happiness. The singer admitted, “I used to enjoy working the most, but I realized recently that I didn’t know how to recharge when I felt drained. I love working so much, but now I see that it’s important to rest too.”

She continued, “I’m someone who doesn’t expect rest. If I’m resting, I didn’t like it. There’s so much more I need to do, and I feel a lot of responsibility. I haven’t talked to my family as much as I used to.”

As Rosé opened up, she began to cry, overwhelmed by the pressure of her busy schedule. She quickly apologized, saying, “I shouldn’t be crying like this, I’m sorry.”

After gathering herself, Rosé explained, “I feel like my family expects that I’ll be able to spend more time with them as time goes by. I’m trying to balance work and take care of myself, but I want them to understand. I hope they can wait for me.”

She added, “But sometimes I worry, ‘What if I’m too busy to spend happy moments with my parents?’ I want them to know that I’m doing my best, and I hope they can wait a little longer.” Rosé’s heartfelt words left fans touched as she showed her vulnerable side, asking for her family’s patience and understanding.

  • Will 'When the Stars Gossip' Recover From Its Shocking 2% Ratings? 500-Billion KRW Drama Struggles to Gain Viewership

When the Stars Gossip is facing a tough battle as its ratings continue to decline, leaving many to wonder if it can recover.

Despite its massive 500 billion KRW budget and a year-long production process, the drama’s viewership has been steadily dropping since its premiere.

The first two episodes of the show had relatively modest ratings, with 3.3% for episode one and 3.9% for episode two.

However, the third episode, which aired on January 11th, saw a sharp drop to just 2.2%, according to Nielsen Korea.

At this rate, the drama is on the verge of falling below 1% in viewership, which would be a serious blow for the production.

The drama’s star-studded cast, featuring Gong Hyo Jin and Lee Min Ho, hasn’t been enough to stop the slide in ratings.

As the show tries to maintain its momentum, the question remains: Can When the Stars Gossip bounce back, or will its viewership continue to sink?

With such a big budget and high expectations, viewers are still holding out hope for a recovery, but the drama’s future is uncertain unless ratings start climbing.
