The script reading for MBC’s highly anticipated new drama Motel California has been revealed, and it’s already giving fans a taste of the heart-fluttering romance to come!
Set to air in January 2025, Motel California tells the story of a woman, Ji Kang-hee (played by Lee Se Young), who grew up in a motel in the countryside. After fleeing from her first love 12 years ago, she reunites with him and experiences a series of twists in a romance filled with emotional ups and downs. The drama is based on the popular 2019 novel Home, Bitter Home by Shim Yoon-seo.
Joining Lee Se Young is Na In Woo, who plays Cheon Yeon-su, the charming veterinarian who reconnects with his first love, Kang-hee.
