• Lee Chan Won’s Cringe-Worthy High School Photo Revealed, Sparks Laughter: “I Look So Outdated”

Lee Chan Won's past photo has become the talk of the town after it was shared on TV, leaving fans surprised.

On November 8, Lee Chan Won appeared as a guest on the KBS 2TV variety show Shin Sang Launching Pen Restaurant, where he also gave viewers a peek inside his home.

During the episode, Lee Chan Won’s friends from 12 years ago made a special appearance, and the group spent some fun moments looking through old photos.

However, things took an unexpected turn when Lee Chan Won urgently shouted, “Wait a minute!” That’s when an embarrassing photo of him as a high school student was shown on screen. In the picture, he was wearing glasses and holding a certificate, which made everyone laugh.

As the group went through more old photos, Lee Chan Won’s friends shared memories, including one where he was doing volunteer work and another from a school trip.

One friend pointed out that Lee Chan Won had been wearing suits since high school, to which Lee Chan Won replied, “I’ve liked suits since I was young. I even wore one to a baseball game.”

One of his friends also revealed that they had a video of Lee Chan Won from back then, teasing him by saying, “You looked really outdated,” which sparked even more curiosity.

In the video, a younger Lee Chan Won joked, “I look so ugly, right? No matter how you take it, it’s impossible for me to look good,” speaking with a strong accent.

Lee Chan Won explained that his accent came from growing up around his business-oriented parents and living with his grandmother, which influenced his speech.

His friends also shared how Lee Chan Won would often sing popular Korean songs like "Woolgim Wae Wooleo" and "Jinto Baegi", saying they heard them so much that the songs stuck in their heads.

In the end, Lee Chan Won laughed and joked, “I want to burn all KBS material from before my debut.” His lighthearted comment made everyone laugh, and the moment became one of the most memorable parts of the episode.
