
BTS member V (Kim Taehyung) is making waves in the brand world, helping companies boost their image and popularity with his powerful influence.
Recently, MBC’s YouTube channel 14F (IlsaF) looked into V’s impact on Compose Coffee, revealing how he’s helped elevate the brand.
According to the analysis, Compose Coffee chose V as their model to update their image after nearly a decade. “Compose wanted V, a global superstar, to bring a modern vibe to the brand,” the analysis noted.
The video continued, saying Compose Coffee aimed to be seen as affordable yet premium and relatable while still feeling special.

With V’s journey to the top, he perfectly matched Compose’s mission. In the ad, V played both a barista and a composer, creatively tying “Compose” with “composer,” giving the brand a unique and creative identity. V shared, “I discussed the ad’s direction with director Yoo Kwang Hong,” showing his dedication to the project.
V’s influence extends beyond Compose Coffee. As the global ambassador for luxury brands like Celine and Cartier, he has driven huge sales for both companies.
According to marketing platform Lefty, V’s work with Celine generated an impressive $274 million (about 366.6 billion KRW). He was also named the “Top Fashion Influencer of 2023” alongside Kim Kardashian.
Cartier’s parent company Richemont saw record-breaking jewelry sales, reaching 14.2 billion euros (about 21.5 trillion KRW) after V’s ambassador role began.
With unmatched popularity on platforms like Instagram and Wikipedia, V has created the “V Effect,” where items he’s associated with frequently sell out instantly.
V’s star power continues to influence both luxury and everyday brands, proving his impact is as powerful as ever.
