• SHINee's Onew Delights Fans at Green-Themed Fan Concert: "I Felt Supported"

SHINee member Onew had a fantastic time with his fans, called "Jjingus," during his first fan concert!

Onew held his first fan concert, titled 2024 ONEW FAN CONCERT 'Hola!', on October 5-6 at the Olympic Handball Gymnasium in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul.

Back in May, during his solo fan meeting GUESS!, Onew shared his vision for a green future with his fans. Now, with Hola!, he took the first steps toward that future together with them.

The concert kicked off with "Hola!," the title track from his third mini-album FLOW. Onew warmly greeted his fans, and the energy in the venue was electric from the very start. He performed hit songs like "Charm (Beat Drum)," "Maestro," "Shape of My Heart," "Focus," and "Sunday to Saturday," fully immersing himself in the music.

Each song reflected Onew's deep love for his fans. He even performed "Uroko," a track from his first Japanese album Life Goes On, which fans had been eagerly waiting for. This song beautifully matched the autumn night with its heartfelt emotions.

Onew also made sure to engage with fans throughout the concert. He held a "Chit-Chat Q&A" where he answered their curious questions, reenacted memorable GIFs in "Onew’s Live GIFs," and fulfilled fan wishes in "Baseball of Wishes."

His thoughtful gestures were clear during the event. Onew even prepared a special stage for fans seated on the second floor and interacted with them as he moved around the venue. As fans came and went, he handed out photo cards with handwritten messages, making their experience feel special from beginning to end.

At the end of the concert, Onew shared his feelings, saying, "Since this was my first time producing and writing all the songs for my mini-album FLOW, I felt nervous and had many concerns. But seeing you all enjoy it makes me feel even more supported, and I’m grateful for that. There’s so much more to come. Please trust me with anything."

After a successful first fan concert Hola! in Seoul, Onew will continue his performances in Taipei on November 2, followed by shows in Kanagawa, Japan, on November 21-22. Fans can’t wait to see what he has in store next!

  • Lee Jun Young says he felt guilty and cried after acting mean to a grandma in 'Brave Citizen'

Lee Jun Young recently opened up about the emotional toll of playing a villain—and how one powerful scene made him break down in tears behind the scenes.

On the May 1st episode of KBS 2TV’s variety show Problem Child in House, Lee Jun Young appeared alongside co-star Jung Eun Ji to promote their new KBS drama Pump Up the Healthy Love.

During the show, Lee Jun Young was asked about the most unforgettable villain he’s played. He chose his role as Han Su Gang in the film Brave Citizen.

He explained, “It was really tough to film. I had to act like I was leading school violence, and there was even a scene where I bullied a grandmother.”

The hosts were surprised, pointing out how kind and gentle he seems in real life. Lee Jun Young shared how he transforms for such roles.

“I try to act as bad as I can, but sometimes the director says, ‘You still look too nice.’ Then I focus even harder and adjust right away.”

He also revealed that filming one particular scene hit him hard emotionally. “My real grandmother was sick at the time,” he said.

“In one scene, there’s a grandma selling gimbap, and I ad-libbed by stubbing a cigarette out on the gimbap. I was really into character, but after filming, I just broke down. So many thoughts came to me and I started crying.”

Fans praised his dedication to acting but also felt moved by how deeply the role affected him. Lee Jun Young’s honesty gave a raw look at how even fictional roles can hit close to home.
