• UNIS to Hold Their First Solo Fan Meeting in Japan

Rising girl group UNIS (members: Jin Hyeonju, Nana, Jellydanca, Kotoko, Bang Yoonha, Elysia, Oh Yoonah, and Lim Seowon) is gearing up for their first-ever solo fan meeting in Japan! The event, titled "UNIS Japan 1st Fanmeeting CURIOUS," is set for September 23 at Setagaya Civic Hall in Tokyo, where they'll get up close and personal with their fans.

What’s extra special about this event? It’s their first solo fan meeting since debuting just six months ago!

Fans in Japan will get not one, but two chances to see UNIS, with shows happening at 2:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. UNIS is making sure their Japanese fanbase, EverAfter, has a day to remember, with exciting performances and fan-interaction segments lined up.

The group has promised to create a memorable experience, with a mix of performances that will "delight both the eyes and ears" and special segments tailored just for their fans. Looks like it’s going to be a day packed with fun and surprises!

Tickets were already in high demand during the pre-sale for their official Japanese fan club from August 3 to 12, and general sales officially opened on September 7 at 10 a.m. Fans can still grab tickets through major platforms like Lawson Ticket, Ticket Pia, eplus, and Kyodo Tokyo.

UNIS has been building a strong connection with their Japanese fans through high-touch events, fan signings, interviews, and even local festivals. After wrapping up their debut activities in Korea, they jumped right into promoting in Japan, and it’s paying off!

On September 8, UNIS snagged two awards at the 2024 The Fact Music Awards (TMA) held at Kyocera Dome in Osaka—Hot Artist and Today's Choice. The Today's Choice award was particularly meaningful, as it’s based entirely on votes from the live audience, proving just how popular UNIS is in Japan right now!

For more details on their upcoming fan meeting, be sure to follow their official social media channels. It’s a can’t-miss event for EverAfter!

  • Park Bo Gum honors Suzy’s 10th Baeksang anniversary with flowers and fans are loving it

Suzy just hit a major milestone — and Park Bo Gum made sure it didn’t go unnoticed.

On May 5, the 61st Baeksang Arts Awards was held at COEX D Hall in Gangnam, Seoul, with Shin Dong Yup, Suzy, and Park Bo Gum returning as the MC trio once again. But this year wasn’t just any regular hosting gig — it marked Suzy’s 10th anniversary as the show’s MC.

Shin Dong Yup kicked off the ceremony by introducing this year’s theme, “Toward, Voyage”, and jokingly said, “We probably can’t be MCs for another 10, 20, or 30 years, but wouldn’t it be nice if we could sail all the way to the 91st Baeksang?”

Suzy added with a smile, “I’m sailing toward the hearts of all the audience members.”

But the sweetest moment came when Park Bo Gum turned to Suzy and said, “Today marks our 10th year together”, before pulling out a beautiful bouquet of flowers to celebrate her 10th year as host. The crowd loved it, and so did Suzy.

Shin Dong Yup then asked Suzy if she remembered her very first time on the Baeksang stage. She said, “Of course I do. I was really nervous because it was my first time, but I was also so happy and excited to be chosen as an MC. Now, 10 years have gone by… and it still feels special, like the first time.”

The warm memories didn’t stop there. Suzy asked Shin Dong Yup about his own first experience, and he shared, “I remember receiving an award here over 30 years ago. I think I’ve been an MC for about 15 or 16 years now.”

He added, “I might’ve looked calm on the outside, but inside, I was always nervous and trembling. But maybe that mix of nerves and excitement is what helped me keep doing this with all of you.”

The 61st Baeksang turned into a night of celebration, not just for the stars being honored — but also for the ones who’ve been guiding the stage for years.

And thanks to Park Bo Gum’s thoughtful gesture, Suzy’s 10th year felt more like a fairytale than a job.
