BLACKPINK member Jennie is all set to make her solo comeback!
Her agency, OA Entertainment (Oddatelier), confirmed that Jennie has partnered with U.S. label Columbia Records and will release a new single in October.
Columbia Records, part of Sony Music Entertainment, is home to big names like Beyoncé, Adele, and Harry Styles. They will be supporting Jennie in her solo activities.
This will be Jennie’s first solo track in a year, following her special single "You & Me" last October. Fans around the world are super excited, especially since Jennie is known for her ability to excel in different music styles. Many are eager to see what she’ll bring with this new release.
Last year, Jennie hit 1 billion streams on Spotify with her collab "One Of The Girls," featuring The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp.
The song stayed on the Billboard Hot 100 for 20 weeks, and she became the first Korean female solo artist to get Platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
In April, Jennie’s song "SOLO" hit 1 billion views on YouTube, making her the first K-pop female artist to reach that milestone. Jennie’s constant success shows just how powerful she is on the global stage.
Jennie’s October comeback is now confirmed, and she’s working hard to get ready for it.
