BTS's Jimin has achieved another incredible milestone with his track 'Closer Than This,' which has now surpassed 200 million streams on Spotify.

Released as a surprise gift for fans just before Christmas last year, 'Closer Than This' has reached this impressive milestone on the world's largest music streaming platform in just 222 days.

This marks Jimin's seventh song to surpass 200 million streams, following hits like 'Like Crazy' from his solo album 'FACE,' the English version of 'Like Crazy,' 'Set Me Free Pt.2,' the OST 'With You,' his collaboration 'VIBE,' and the main theme 'Angel pt.1' from the movie 'Fast & Furious: Ride or Die.'

This achievement ties him for the record for the most songs with over 200 million streams among Korean solo artists.

'Closer Than This' is a heartfelt fan song that Jimin co-wrote and composed, showcasing his love for his fans. Despite being released during the peak of Christmas carol season, it made an impressive debut at number 36 on the Global Daily Top Songs chart on Spotify and was the only new song to enter the US Daily Top Songs chart at that time.

On April 15, the song achieved an 'all-kill' by topping the iTunes Top Songs chart in 119 countries and regions, surpassing Mariah Carey's seasonal hit. It also claimed the number one spot on both the 'Worldwide iTunes Song' chart and the 'European iTunes Song' chart. In Japan, it debuted at number one on the 'Oricon' Daily Chart Digital Singles, further solidifying its global dominance.

The music video for 'Closer Than This,' which immediately topped the YouTube Music Video Worldwide Trending chart upon its release, has now surpassed 28.08 million views.

The track has also recorded 170,000 searches on the global music search site Shazam and has over 32 million streams on Melon, continuing to receive love from fans on major domestic and international music charts.

Meanwhile, Jimin released his second solo album 'MUSE' on July 19, featuring 'Closer Than This' as the final track.

He participated in writing and composing six songs on the album, including 'Closer Than This,' and served as a producer on two tracks, showcasing his growth and versatility as an artist.
