BTS’s Jimin is shining as a solo artist with his new release, ‘MUSE,’ which has taken the U.S. Billboard charts by storm. According to the latest Billboard charts (dated August 3), Jimin’s second solo album ‘MUSE’ debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200.

The album also made impressive strides on detailed charts, landing at No. 2 on both the Top Album Sales and Top Current Album Sales charts. The title track ‘Who’ proved its prowess by ranking 14th on the Hot 100 and topping the Global 200, Global (excluding the U.S.), and Digital Song Sales charts.

All seven tracks from ‘MUSE,’ including ‘Who,’ made their mark on the Global (excluding the U.S.) chart. Besides the title track, the album's songs such as ‘Smeraldo Garden Marching Band (feat. Loco)’ (60th), ‘Be Mine’ (123rd), ‘Slow Dance (feat. Sofia Carson)’ (159th), and ‘Rebirth (Intro)’ (187th) also climbed the Global 200.

These achievements underscore Jimin's strong solo presence. Since his debut solo album ‘FACE’ last year, he has consistently ranked high on the Billboard 200 and placed a total of six tracks on the Hot 100. Jimin also holds the record for the most No. 1s (6 times) on the Digital Song Sales chart for a K-pop solo artist.

BigHit Music praised Jimin, stating, “The artist’s sincerity and consistent dedication without cutting corners made these achievements possible.” Jimin revealed in the video 'Exchange Album MMM (Mini & Moni Music) - Jimin' that he went back to basics with vocal training for this album.

Despite his success with BTS, his commitment to further improvement is evident. Producer Pdogg, who worked on ‘MUSE,’ added, Jimin’s constant effort and dedication make him a captivating artist. It’s through this effort that we can see his growth in this music journey.”

Jimin’s dynamic performances have also contributed to his global impact. On July 23, the performance video of ‘Who’ aired on NBC’s popular talk show 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,' trending on YouTube in multiple countries and regions. This buzz led to a boost in ‘Who’s’ chart rankings.

‘Who’ combines a bold, sexy beat with the tender emotions of missing someone you’ve never met and the confusion of those feelings. Jimin’s unique emotional expression has made this sentiment resonate deeply. Music publication Consequence of Sound praised Jimin’s performance of ‘Who’ as “showing intense choreography from start to finish, paired with powerful and confident vocals.”

Jimin’s solo second album ‘MUSE’ and its title track ‘Who’ have maintained their spot at No. 1 on Spotify’s Daily Top Song Global chart for seven consecutive days (covering July 23–29).
