BTS's Jin Makes Emotional Statement: "Even if ARMY leaves us in the distant future, we can never leave ARMY"

Jin recently grabbed attention with his positive and mature mindset in an interview with Weverse Magazine, released on BTS's official fan community platform, Weverse.

Jin shared, "It's been about 8 days since I was discharged, and I worked every day except one," adding with a smile, "But I have to do it all. Because I'm a superstar," showing his love for the fans who waited for his return.

To keep his promise to meet fans on the 11th anniversary, Jin told his family and friends, "I need to meet ARMY. Please don't talk about holding a discharge party this week," showing his thoughtful nature, which touched hearts.

About the '2024 FESTA' schedule the day after his discharge, Jin said, "I had to do it no matter what. Just because the air is bad, it doesn't mean we stop breathing," and regarding the stage preparation, "It wasn't easy because I didn't have enough time to prepare. I just did it with love," showcasing his professionalism and affection for fans.

When asked about the emotions of standing on stage again, Jin replied, "Fans might feel disappointed, but I tried really hard not to show those emotions. It was the day after my discharge, so I didn't have much practice, and it had been a long time since I sang. I felt nervous and emotional, almost like crying while singing. But I couldn't show a poor performance, so I turned up the in-ear volume and closed my eyes while singing the first song. Honestly, I even rehearsed with cheongsimhwan (a traditional Korean herbal pill for calming nerves) because of the stage," he shyly confessed.

Jin shared that he took cheongsimhwan to calm his nerves and give a perfect performance for fans.

Jin explained, "Returning to the military, I took cheongsimhwan in advance to see if it would prevent my throat from drying out and reduce my heartbeat, but my throat got very dry. To avoid voice cracks while singing, I found another product and took it on the day. Still, my heart was racing a lot. Despite that, we debuted the second verse of 'Super Tuna,' which had only one day of stage preparation."

Jin expressed his enthusiasm for various activities, saying, "I'm working hard on album production right now. I think it would be great to quickly prepare and appear on variety shows since it's been so long since fans saw my face. I even got an ad for a large billboard so fans can see my face a lot."

Reflecting on how BTS has been able to give their best every day for 11 years since debuting in 2013, Jin said, "BTS really likes ARMY. It's natural to give your best for someone you love," and added, "Even if ARMY leaves us in the distant future, we can never leave ARMY. I'll always do my best, so please stay with us for a long time. Thank you for waiting," expressing his sincere affection and request to fans.

When asked what happiness and 'Hwa Yang Yeon Hwa' (the most beautiful moment in life) mean to him, Jin responded, "I decided not to think about it anymore. Because 'Hwa Yang Yeon Hwa' means the most beautiful time in life, and if that moment ends, it might not seem beautiful anymore. I'm satisfied and find things beautiful now, so I don't think there's a need to think about the next 'Hwa Yang Yeon Hwa'," he said calmly.

Jin concluded the interview by saying, "I'm always happy now."
