
BTS member V's solo album 'Layover' is shining globally, dominating the iTunes album charts. On July 14, V's first solo album 'Layover' hit number one on the iTunes Top Albums chart in Guinea-Bissau. This milestone means 'Layover' has topped the iTunes album charts in 107 countries and regions.
With this achievement, V joins his fellow BTS members RM, J-Hope, and Suga as the fourth Asian solo artist to top the iTunes album charts.
V has cemented his position as a powerful solo artist with his R&B-based album 'Layover.'


Three tracks from the album have also topped the iTunes charts in over 100 countries. 'Slow Dancing' is number one in 101 countries, 'Rainy Days' in 103 countries, and 'Love Me Again' in 100 countries.
'Layover' is the first album by a K-pop solo artist to have all its songs surpass 100 million streams on Spotify. The album has now accumulated a total of 1.667 billion streams. On June 1, it became the first album by an Asian solo artist to sell over 100,000 units in the U.S., showing V's impressive digital music sales.
'Layover' also reached the second-highest position for a K-pop solo artist on Billboard's main album chart, the 'Billboard 200'. Additionally, two tracks from the album, 'Slow Dancing' and 'Love Me Again', charted on Billboard's main singles chart, the 'Hot 100'.
