BTS's Jin has shown his admiration for actor Kim Soo Hyun.
On the 15th, the YouTube channel 'W KOREA' released a video titled 'Precious, precious… BTS Jin Talks About Military Life, His Recent Activities, and Interests.'
In the video, Jin discussed his recent activities, including recording albums, working on songs, appearing on variety shows, and doing photoshoots.
Reflecting on his discharge day, Jin shared, "At first, I couldn't see the members well. When I turned around after greeting the camera, they were already hugging each other without me. It had been a long time since we'd seen each other. I really missed them while I was away, and I realized they must have felt the same."
He also sent a heartfelt message to members currently serving in the military, encouraging them to persevere: "Time will pass, so if you work hard, better days will come. I'll be working diligently and achieving beautiful things first, so I pray for your safe return. We really need you."
Discussing his military experience at the 5th Infantry Division Recruit Training Center in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi Province, Jin modestly shared, "I followed orders well and was fortunate to earn the 'Special Warrior' title quickly." He proudly recounted his achievements in shooting and running, meeting the required standards.
Jin revealed that he's taken up tennis again post-discharge, enjoying the sport with friends. He also mentioned his enjoyment of the drama 'Queen of Tears,' particularly liking the scene where Kim Soo Hyun reads fortunes with petals.
Reflecting on personal growth, Jin remarked, "My mindset has changed the most. Though my once bright appearance may have dimmed slightly, I feel I'm returning to my prime starting today. Please look forward to seeing my evolving self."
Recently discharged last month, Jin also represented South Korea as a torchbearer for the Paris Olympics in France, cheered on by global ARMY, showcasing national pride.
