BTS's Jin continues to showcase his global influence by topping Argentina's music charts.
Jin's debut solo single, 'The Astronaut', has dominated the 'Top 40 Kpop' chart in Argentina, holding onto the number one position for an impressive 89 consecutive weeks. As of July 12th, 'The Astronaut' has gathered over 185,000 votes, demonstrating its enduring popularity and strong solo music appeal.
Argentina's popular radio channel 'Vega Radio' (@vegaradio), now known as 'Top 40 Kpop' (@Top40Kpop), actively promotes the latest rankings of Kpop music. Last August, Vega Radio attracted global attention by analyzing the reasons behind 'The Astronaut's' chart-topping success on the 'KPOP TOP40 Ranking'.

Vega Radio praised, "'The Astronaut' transcends the Kpop genre, embodying elements of 80s pop, rock, and synth-wave cultures. Created in collaboration with Coldplay, BTS's Jin has crafted a captivating piece that resonates across generations, solidifying its status as a beloved hit."
Originally released as a surprise gift for fans before Jin's enlistment, 'The Astronaut' continues to set records across various music platforms, achieving 100 million streams on Spotify in just 72 days. It has since surpassed 450 million streams, making it the fastest Korean male solo song to reach this milestone as of July 12th.
Since his military discharge, Jin has remained in the spotlight through diverse activities, including filming for the MBC variety show 'It's Great to Rest' and being appointed as a global brand ambassador for the French high jewelry Maison FRED.
Additionally, on the 14th, Jin is set to participate as a torchbearer in the Paris leg of the '2024 Paris Summer Olympics', marking his involvement in the torch relay starting at the Louvre.
