• (G)I-DLE's Soyeon: "My Dream is to Get Married and Become a Mom. A Man Without Money? Even Better."

Soyeon from (G)I-DLE shared her big dream of becoming a mom.

On July 9, a video titled "(G)I-DLE's Drinking Interview" was posted on the YouTube channel 'Insaeng84'. In this video, Soyeon and Miyeon from (G)I-DLE talked about various things.

Kian84 asked Miyeon if she thought about acting. Soyeon said, "We'll work as a team. It would be great if my sister acts while we're still a team." Miyeon replied, "I'm the main vocalist, and I love singing."

Soyeon also said, "I write songs, so I want to produce in the future. I want to stay an idol for as long as I can. If I don't have to make way for younger idols, I want to keep going. My ultimate dream is to be a mom. I wanted kids at 28, but time flies." She added, "My ideal type is someone without ambition and greed. I like someone who looks for happiness. It's better if he doesn't have money. I'm very ambitious and greedy, so we can't both be like that."

Miyeon added, "I can't say if I'm dating or not, but there is no dating ban in our contract. My ideal type is a perfect person because I am a perfect person." Kian84 commented, "No one is perfect. Even if Miyeon seems perfect outside, there might be something inside."

About making hit songs, Soyeon said, "It's like a regular job. You do what you have to do. When lyrics flow, I don't feel like I'm in a slump. Most of the time, I'm in a slump. But if you keep writing, a good song will come out."

Miyeon talked about her school days, saying, "I was quiet and wore green glasses. Popular people don't know they're popular. I decided to be an idol because I was good at singing. I used to record myself with a microphone on the computer and thought I was good."

Soyeon added, "I was good at dancing since I was young. I got eliminated from 'Produce 101', but thanks to that, I met (G)I-DLE members, so I have no regrets."

On July 8, (G)I-DLE released their 7th mini-album 'I SWAY'. This new album came out six months after their 2nd full album '2' in January. It has four songs: the title track 'Klaxon', 'Last Forever', 'Bloom', and 'Neverland'.

(G)I-DLE worked on all the songs, showing they are a 'self-producing idol' group.

  • Lee Jun Young says he felt guilty and cried after acting mean to a grandma in 'Brave Citizen'

Lee Jun Young recently opened up about the emotional toll of playing a villain—and how one powerful scene made him break down in tears behind the scenes.

On the May 1st episode of KBS 2TV’s variety show Problem Child in House, Lee Jun Young appeared alongside co-star Jung Eun Ji to promote their new KBS drama Pump Up the Healthy Love.

During the show, Lee Jun Young was asked about the most unforgettable villain he’s played. He chose his role as Han Su Gang in the film Brave Citizen.

He explained, “It was really tough to film. I had to act like I was leading school violence, and there was even a scene where I bullied a grandmother.”

The hosts were surprised, pointing out how kind and gentle he seems in real life. Lee Jun Young shared how he transforms for such roles.

“I try to act as bad as I can, but sometimes the director says, ‘You still look too nice.’ Then I focus even harder and adjust right away.”

He also revealed that filming one particular scene hit him hard emotionally. “My real grandmother was sick at the time,” he said.

“In one scene, there’s a grandma selling gimbap, and I ad-libbed by stubbing a cigarette out on the gimbap. I was really into character, but after filming, I just broke down. So many thoughts came to me and I started crying.”

Fans praised his dedication to acting but also felt moved by how deeply the role affected him. Lee Jun Young’s honesty gave a raw look at how even fictional roles can hit close to home.
