• Park Bo Young Cheers for T1 at ‘LoL Champs’ and Gifts Roses to Faker

    Actress Park Bo Young showed her love for T1 at the 2024 League of Legends (LoL) Champions Korea (LCK) Summer match. Known for being a huge LoL fan, she gave bouquets to T1 members before their match, supporting them in person.

    On June 29th, the first round of the 2024 LCK Summer match between T1 and KT Rolster took place at the Goyang Sono Arena. Singer Ailee sang the national anthem, and Park Bo Young was there to cheer on the players.

    Park Bo Young handed roses to T1's Zeus, Oner, Faker, Gumayusi, and Keria, wishing them good luck. She later posted on her social media, “T1 Jeoppegu Fighting!!” along with photos of letters and gifts she received from the T1 players.

    Park Bo Young is a well-known ‘LoL fanatic.’ She often talks about playing LoL during her breaks and says her position is ADC (Attack Damage Carry).

    Last November, she appeared on the YouTube show ‘Salon Drip’ and talked about how she studies the game characters, saying, “An opponent once said I had a poor understanding of the game characters, and it made me angry. I always research characters.”

    She is also a dedicated fan of T1. Last November, she attended the 2023 League of Legends (LoL) World Championship at the Seoul Gocheok Sky Dome to cheer for T1.

    She posted photos of herself wearing a jumper with T1 Faker’s name and holding a banner with T1’s cheering slogan. She shared her joy when T1 defeated the Chinese team WBG and won the championship.

    In December, Park Bo Young attended a clothing brand event where she met T1. She posted photos of her “special time with T1” and shared them.

    During a live broadcast on the official Weverse, she said, “I haven’t attended an event in nearly 10 years. But I heard T1 would be there, so I went to satisfy my personal desire,” proudly showing off the photos she took.

    Park Bo Young’s dedication to T1 led to her being officially invited to the LCK, where she gave roses to T1 players before their match. After handing out the bouquets, she sat in the audience, proudly wearing the T1 uniform she received and watched the game with wide eyes, showing her genuine fan spirit.

    On the May 1st episode of KBS 2TV’s variety show Problem Child in House, Lee Jun Young appeared alongside co-star Jung Eun Ji to promote their new KBS drama Pump Up the Healthy Love.

    During the show, Lee Jun Young was asked about the most unforgettable villain he’s played. He chose his role as Han Su Gang in the film Brave Citizen.

    He explained, “It was really tough to film. I had to act like I was leading school violence, and there was even a scene where I bullied a grandmother.”

    The hosts were surprised, pointing out how kind and gentle he seems in real life. Lee Jun Young shared how he transforms for such roles.

    “I try to act as bad as I can, but sometimes the director says, ‘You still look too nice.’ Then I focus even harder and adjust right away.”

    He also revealed that filming one particular scene hit him hard emotionally. “My real grandmother was sick at the time,” he said.

    “In one scene, there’s a grandma selling gimbap, and I ad-libbed by stubbing a cigarette out on the gimbap. I was really into character, but after filming, I just broke down. So many thoughts came to me and I started crying.”

    Fans praised his dedication to acting but also felt moved by how deeply the role affected him. Lee Jun Young’s honesty gave a raw look at how even fictional roles can hit close to home.
