On the 21st, Jin teased his own solo album after BTS member Jimin's solo tracklist reveal on Weverse, commenting, "Jimin, next is my turn. I will also sing." This remark sparked huge reactions from fans. Known for his interactions on Weverse, Jin is affectionately dubbed the "King of Notices."

Jin recently completed his military service with honors, serving in the 5th Division of the Army's First Front and retiring on June 12. He held a special fan meeting right after discharge, reaffirming his status as the "god of beauty" and a beloved performer.

Before enlisting, Jin released his first solo single "The King of Astronauts" in October 2022, co-written with Coldplay.
