Group NewJeans has scored their fourth consecutive million-selling album with their latest release "How Sweet."
As revealed by their agency Udoor, NewJeans' double single "How Sweet," dropped on May 24th, has sold over 1,085,355 copies, including both regular and web versions, according to the Circle Chart May album chart.
This remarkable feat solidifies NewJeans' position as million sellers since their debut in July 2022. Their previous albums, "NewJeans," "OMG," and "Get Up," each surpassed the million mark in sales, with "Get Up" hitting over 2.14 million copies alone.
Altogether, the group's four albums have collectively sold over 6.48 million copies.
Known as the "king of music streaming," NewJeans continues to dominate charts with their title track "How Sweet" and B-side "Bubble Gum," maintaining top positions on major Korean music platforms like Melon, Genie, and Bugs.
Additionally, "How Sweet" has secured a spot on the Spotify "Weekly Top Song Global" chart for two consecutive weeks, ranking 119th.
Excitingly, NewJeans is set to make their debut appearance on a groundwave entertainment program. They'll join the cast of KBS's popular show "1 Night 2 Days Season 4" for a special battle airing on the 9th.
