
NewJeans has seized a coveted spot on the prestigious US Billboard charts with their latest album.
According to Billboard's most recent chart rankings unveiled on June 4 KST (covering the period from May 24-30), NewJeans clinched the 7th position in the 'Global' category (excluding the US) with their double single title track 'How Sweet'.
Billboard's report highlighted, '"How Sweet" amassed a staggering 42.8 million streams and over 5,000 music sales (downloads) within just one week," further noting, "This marks NewJeans' fifth song to break into the top 10 on the global charts."

Their track "Bubble Gum" has also enjoyed tremendous success, securing the 18th position on the chart.
With over 25 million streams and more than 4,000 music sales, the song even made waves on the charts, debuting at number 166 prior to its official release.
The global chart serves as a barometer of Billboard's music market trends worldwide, ranking songs based on streaming and music sales across over 200 regions globally, making it a significant gauge of global popularity.
Back home, NewJeans continues to reign over major domestic music charts, with 'How Sweet' and "Bubble Gum" steadfastly holding onto the 2nd and 3rd positions on platforms like Melon, Bugs, and Flo.
