
tvN's drama 'Lovely Runner' wrapped up its seven-day popup store in Seoul and celebrated the final episode with a special viewing event.
'Lovely Runner' is a time-travel romance about Im Sol (Kim Hye Yoon), a fan who goes back to 2008 to save her favorite artist, Ryu Sun Jae (Byeon Woo Seok), after he dies.
The touching 15-year love story and the perfect chemistry between the actors earned the show a nickname: "Monday Sickness Cure," making it very popular.
On May 29th, the 'Lovely Runner' team said, "Thanks to the viewers' love and support, we successfully held a popup store and a group viewing event for the final episode with CGV."


On May 28th, a thousand fans from all over the country attended the final episode group viewing. Tickets were highly sought after, showing the show's massive popularity, especially among women in their 20s and 30s.
Directors Yoon Jong Ho and Kim Tae Yeob, writer Lee Si Eun, and actors Byeon Woo Seok, Kim Hye Yoon, Song Geon Hee, Lee Seung Hyeop, Moon Si On, Yang Hyuk, Seong Byeong Sook, Jeong Yeong Joo, Song Ji Ho, and Lee Il Jun attended to thank the fans.
Byeon Woo Seok, who was emotional and teary, expressed his gratitude, saying, "I learned a lot and am very thankful." Kim Hye Yoon added, "Thanks to all of you, we watched episode 16 together. I hope 'Lovely Runner' remains a lifetime memory."
The popup store ran from May 23rd to the 29th at The Hyundai Seoul B2F Iconic Popup Zone. Thousands of fans visited, and there were long lines each morning, leading to quick sell-outs.

The store sold 17 types of merchandise inspired by the show and its stars, including Sol-Sun metal badges, blue shark T-shirts, denim eco bags, and Sol-Sun couple key rings, which sold out fast. The popup store will continue in Busan and online.
