Is it just part of the package when you’re a ‘trending’ star? Celebs are finding themselves in the middle of unexpected dating rumors sparked by the smallest coincidences.
Byeon Woo Seok, who’s currently riding high with his role in the tvN drama ‘Lovely Runner’, found himself linked to model Jeon Ji-soo on the 10th. Some eagle-eyed netizens pointed out that Byeon Woo Seokand Jeon Ji Soo were recently spotted wearing similar rings and posting pictures from the same location with similar compositions on SNS.
They even claimed that Byeon Woo Seok ‘followed’ Jeon Ji Soo and ‘liked’ her post.
But it turns out, it was all a misunderstanding. Byeon Woo Seok’s agency, Baro Entertainment, quickly denied the rumors, saying, “Byeon Woo Seok and Jeon Ji Soo are just college friends.” It was also confirmed that Jeon Ji Soo is currently dating DJ A, not Byeon Woo Seok, putting an end to the rumor.
Byeon Woo Seok isn’t the only one. Several stars have found themselves caught up in scandals and have had to set the record straight.
Hweseo, a member of the girl group H1-Key, spoke up when a dating rumor with Na Camden, a member of the boy group Ampers&One, surfaced. She addressed the issue on the fan community on the 6th, saying, “I will talk because there is a question,” and clarified, “There is no relationship that can be misunderstood at all with Na Camden.”
Previously, the members of Ampers&One conducted a live broadcast, and Na Camden’s voice mentioning Hweseo’s real name, Hwehyun, and exchanging greetings sparked dating rumors.

Kazuha, a member of the girl group LE SSERAFIM, also had to deal with a dating rumor raised by a Japanese media.
The famous Japanese weekly magazine Weekly Bunshun reported on the 3rd of last month that Kazuha and Kei, a member of the boy group &TEAM, had a date after finishing their schedule.
The media claimed that the two had been building a friendship for about a year and started dating around the summer of 2022. Also, they broke up last summer and reunited.
