    On April 23, Big Planet Made Entertainment made an announcement, “Ha Sung Woon has dutifully wrapped up his military service as an active-duty soldier today and has been discharged with the rank of corporal.”

    The label also posted a photo of his discharge. In the snapshot, Ha Sung Woon is seen standing in front of a base in Cheorwon, Gangwon Province, donned in his military uniform and holding a bouquet of flowers.

    Reflecting on his service, Ha Sung Woon shared, “It was an experience I’ll never forget. I learned and experienced so much during this precious time. I’m deeply thankful to the comrades who served with me.”

    He also took a moment to express gratitude to his fans, adding, “To my cherished ‘Haneul’ (fandom name), who has supported and waited for me for such a long period, I sincerely thank you.”

    Having debuted as a versatile artist in 2014, Ha Sung Woon earned recognition through his group activities with ‘Hotshot’ and ‘Wanna One.’

    He has also launched seven mini-albums as a solo artist throughout his music career.

    Interestingly, he kept in touch with his fans even during his military service. Last February, he released a digital single titled ‘Snowy Stars’ to celebrate his fandom’s anniversary.

    His agency voiced high hopes for the singer’s future endeavors, stating, “As Ha Sung Woon marks his 5th solo debut anniversary, we look forward to him continuing to grow and live up to the expectations of his fans.”
