• NewJeans' Hyein opens up about finally working with IU: "I put my heart and soul singing her song"

NewJeans' very own Hyein has made a stunning appearance on the cover of a fashion magazine.

Gracing the March issue of Vogue Korea, released on February 17th, Hyein, an ambassador for Louis Vuitton House, showcased her unique charm and sophistication using the brand's jewelry collection.

During the interview accompanying the photoshoot, Hyein shared, “The most joyous moments for me are when our audience is fully engaged and having a blast at our performances.” She added, “Our team always reminds each other to live in the moment when we're on stage.”

Hyein also opened up about her experience featuring in 'Shh..', a track from IU's upcoming album 'The Winning', set to drop on February 20th.

She expressed, "The opportunity to feature in IU's song was thrilling. I practiced relentlessly to bring out the uniqueness of my voice. I was determined to give my best during the recording."

In the same issue, Vogue Korea highlighted 24 women who are shaping the modern era. Among them was Hyein of NewJeans, a group that has consistently topped domestic and international charts with every song they've released.

They achieved the fastest debut-to-number-one on the U.S. Billboard main album chart, Billboard 200 (as of August 5, 2023), among K-pop groups, and had five songs enter the ‘Hot 100’ last year alone.

Moreover, NewJeans bagged the 'Group of the Year' award at the ‘Billboard Women in Music Awards’, which honors female artists and producers who have significantly influenced the music industry over the past year. They are slated to perform at the awards ceremony in Los Angeles, USA, on the 6th of next month.

  • Tomorrow X Together (TXT) shock fans by hitting No. 1 in Japan with 'Love Language' while on tour—only K-pop act in top 5

Tomorrow X Together (TXT) is once again showing their global power!

On May 4, BigHit Music announced that TXT’s latest digital single “Love Language” had climbed to No. 1 on Line Music Japan’s ‘Top 100 Songs’ daily chart, just a day after its release.

The song debuted at No. 12 on May 2 and jumped 11 spots to grab the top spot on May 3. Over on Oricon’s ‘Daily Digital Single Ranking’, the song also ranked high at No. 2, making TXT the only international artist to rank in the top 5 on both major Japanese charts.

But TXT’s success isn’t just limited to Japan. “Love Language” also topped iTunes ‘Top Songs’ charts in nine countries and regions, including Japan, Mexico, Chile, Argentina, and Portugal. The track also charted high on the Worldwide iTunes Songs chart, standing proudly alongside songs by global pop giants.

Love Language is a sweet and emotional track that compares love to learning a new language. TXT members express the desire to understand someone they care about, even when it’s not easy to communicate.

The song is especially meaningful because the group dropped it as a surprise gift for fans during their ongoing world tour, ‘ACT : PROMISE’ – EP. 2.

Fans are going wild over the song’s catchy vibes, sharp group choreography, and one unforgettable moment where the members briefly lift their shirts, showing their abs—a performance detail that’s gone viral across fan communities.

TXT is clearly not slowing down, and Love Language is another major step in their rise as a global K-pop powerhouse.
