• "Singles Inferno 3" star Min Ji exposes reality of controversial behavior on the show — netizens question her explanation

In the latest episodes of "Single’s Inferno 3," contestant Cho Min Ji faced criticism for what some viewers deemed as controversial scenes.

Throughout the show, Min Ji faced negativity for her actions. Initially liked for her cheerful personality, netizens quickly labeled her as a "Pick Me" and criticized her perceived "cringy" behavior.

The situation escalated when she cried after being rejected by Lee Gwan Hee on the helicopter.

Min Ji also received negative comments about wearing pajamas that some found too revealing.

In a viral video, Min Ji addressed the allegations and the hate she received. When asked about the helicopter incident, she explained that her tears were due to a stomachache, but she couldn't say so to avoid embarrassing fellow contestant Ha Jaeong.

She hinted that it might have been caused by cooking, and despite trying to smile through it, the tears wouldn't stop.

Regarding the pajamas, Min Ji clarified that the producers had requested her to wear pretty ones. She bought new ones, but they felt uncomfortable initially.

She acknowledged the confusion and tension, even within her family during that scene.

The online reaction to Min Ji's explanations was mixed. Some netizens sympathized, blaming "evil-editing" for the hate she faced.

However, others considered it a possible "PR stunt," questioning the consistency of Min Ji's recount of events.

    Netizens' comments included:

"Minji seems nice and harmless. No clue why everyone is so salty about her."

"Interesting revelation about reality show illusions – the crew suggested the pajama."

"The hate is weird; she can wear whatever she wants. This PR damage control makes it worse for her."

"Not genuine lol. Unnecessary PR move, contradicting what she did on the show."

"Regardless, she provided two legendary, hilarious scenes: the pajama and helicopter."

  • Lee Jun Young says he felt guilty and cried after acting mean to a grandma in 'Brave Citizen'

Lee Jun Young recently opened up about the emotional toll of playing a villain—and how one powerful scene made him break down in tears behind the scenes.

On the May 1st episode of KBS 2TV’s variety show Problem Child in House, Lee Jun Young appeared alongside co-star Jung Eun Ji to promote their new KBS drama Pump Up the Healthy Love.

During the show, Lee Jun Young was asked about the most unforgettable villain he’s played. He chose his role as Han Su Gang in the film Brave Citizen.

He explained, “It was really tough to film. I had to act like I was leading school violence, and there was even a scene where I bullied a grandmother.”

The hosts were surprised, pointing out how kind and gentle he seems in real life. Lee Jun Young shared how he transforms for such roles.

“I try to act as bad as I can, but sometimes the director says, ‘You still look too nice.’ Then I focus even harder and adjust right away.”

He also revealed that filming one particular scene hit him hard emotionally. “My real grandmother was sick at the time,” he said.

“In one scene, there’s a grandma selling gimbap, and I ad-libbed by stubbing a cigarette out on the gimbap. I was really into character, but after filming, I just broke down. So many thoughts came to me and I started crying.”

Fans praised his dedication to acting but also felt moved by how deeply the role affected him. Lee Jun Young’s honesty gave a raw look at how even fictional roles can hit close to home.
