• Park Min Young Opens Up About Extreme Weight Loss— 'I Don't Recommend It'"

It's not unusual for stars in the entertainment business to lose or gain a lot of weight to play different roles on TV.

Park Min Young, who is the subject of our conversation today, has done this before. In particular, Park Min Young purposely kept her weight at 37 kg (81.6 lbs) for her current role in the TVN drama "Marry My Husband." Because of her character, Kang Ji Won, who is shown to have cancer early on in the story, this choice was made. To really show that she was a patient, Park Min Young set out on a strict weight loss journey.

Many people are also shocked by the ways that Park Min Young sticks to her diet. Along with other things, she cut down on the food she ate and relied on ion drinks.

Has Park Min Young really gotten the look she wanted? In fact, a lot of his fans are worried about how she looks in this work; she looks old and thin right away. Her story shows that extreme dieting, like severely limiting the amount of food you eat, can have many negative effects on your health. The weight may change in the short term, but the long-term risks include losing muscle, hair, and going to the bathroom less often.

One interesting thing to note is that losing muscle mass can cause your baseline metabolic rate to drop. So, it's easy for even a small amount of food to make you gain weight.

Park Min Young has made it clear that she "absolutely does not recommend" this way of dieting. In response to her fans' worries, she said, "Being my age, I also had doubts about whether I could put so much passion into the character." She also said, "For the last time, I decided to give it my all with the thought of really committing to it with great determination."

Park Min Young recently lost weight for a project. This isn't the first time she's tried to change her weight in this way.
She has always taken care of herself to get in shape so that her body fits perfectly with the roles she plays in different works. What makes this case unique, though, is the fact that healthy methods were used to achieve a notable success.

Before, when she was preparing for her part as Kim Mi Soo in the TVN drama "What's Wrong with Secretary Kim," Park Min Young said, "I worked out every day and ate chicken breast to lose body fat and build muscle." Because the role is a secretary, she went to great lengths to perfectly capture the office looks seen in the drama.

  • Fans can't stop swooning over BTS's V showing off cherry blossoms and his toned muscles just 40 days before discharge

BTS's V is making his fans fall even more in love with him as he shares moments from his life just 40 days before his military discharge.

On April 30, V posted several new photos on his Instagram story, giving fans a sneak peek into his daily routine.

Among the photos was a beautiful shot of cherry blossoms, accompanied by the word "cherry blossom" as he expressed his longing for spring.

He followed up with more photos, sharing how much he wanted to enjoy the season with his fans.

To make the post even more special, V added background music from BTS member J-Hope's song Sweet Dreams and Design by the American punk band Gustav.

It turns out that Gustav was grateful for V introducing their music to the world and even received fan comments saying they discovered the band through him.

In another adorable photo, V posed with CF director Ray J. Yi (Lee Jun Yeob), with flowers in his hair. The director also shared the cute photo, adding the word "flower" to express how happy he was with the moment.

But it wasn’t all about flowers and beauty—V also gave fans a peek at his workout routine. He proudly showed off his toned arm muscles in a picture, though his face appeared a little thinner.

This is likely due to his diet, as he’s been working hard to maintain his figure ahead of his discharge. Before enlisting, V weighed 62 kg, and during his service, he reached 86 kg. Now, he’s lost 10 kg and is preparing for his return to the public eye.

Interestingly, V has been working out at the same place where singer Kim Jong Kook films his popular YouTube channel Jim Jong Kook, sparking fan excitement and hopes that V might make an appearance on the show after he’s discharged.

As soon as V shared his latest update, his name—"KIM TAEHYUNG"—shot to the top of real-time trending charts worldwide. Fans from all over the globe, including in the U.S., couldn’t get enough of the updates, proving once again the massive impact V has.

He is set to be discharged from the military on June 10, and fans are eagerly awaiting his return.
