• Fans Applaud IU's Fearless Stand Against Violence in the Idol Security Incidence

Even though BOYNEXTDOOR's management apologized for the recent issue with star security violence, a video of IU protecting fans is still getting a lot of attention.

On December 20, a story called "IU warns security guards not to push fans" was shared on social media and online communities.

There was a video of IU's appearance at the airport in the story.

In the video, a lot of people gathered at the airport to see IU.

A security guard on IU's left side pushed a fan away as they tried to take a picture with the basketball player.

IU made a motion to the security guard to stop him from pushing fans when he saw this.

Later, a person who was at the scene on the internet said that IU told the guard, "Please don't push so much," to keep her fans safe.

Because of the current controversy over idol security violence, this video stands out. At the airport, BOYNEXTDOOR's bodyguard was seen pushing a fan hard.

Since then, BOYNEXTDOOR's agent has put out an official statement saying they're sorry for what happened and that they've talked to the fan who was affected.

As a result, many internet users have praised IU for caring about her fans, writing things like "Even a big star like IU thinks this way…" "A lot of celebrities don't seem to understand the issue," and "Security should make sure the safety of both the star and their fans."

  • Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun says most food is bad for her body and reveals why she stays skinny without even dieting

Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun opened up about her extremely sensitive body type — and revealed why she naturally stays slim without strict dieting.

On May 2, Seohyun appeared as a guest on Hyel’s Club, a YouTube show hosted by Girl’s Day’s Hyeri. During the fun chat, Hyeri brought up a fan question that many have been curious about for years — “Do you still drink ground yam juice?”

Seohyun laughed and said, “That was so long ago! I drank that when I was around 20.” She added, “Back then, I was really into health. Maybe even too ahead of the times. I did slow-aging diets, one-food diets — all of that. But I don’t drink yam juice anymore.”

She explained the reason behind her diet changes, saying, “I took a body constitution test and found out root vegetables don’t work for my body. I thought things like yam and sweet potatoes were healthy, but they didn’t suit me. It’s not like they made me sick — just not a good match. So I stopped eating them.”

Hyeri then asked what other foods don’t suit her, and Seohyun gave a surprising answer: “Most meat doesn’t suit me. Only fish does. That’s why sushi is perfect for me. White rice and fish are the best combo for my body. But honestly, almost everything else doesn’t work well with me.”

When Hyeri asked if she manages her diet carefully based on that, Seohyun replied, “Actually, I don’t really do anything. I just found out about my body type and thought, ‘Oh, I get it now.’”

Hyeri also shared her own story, saying she once quit spicy food after being told it didn’t suit her. Seohyun agreed, saying, “That’s a smart choice. We should live happily.” But when Hyeri admitted she couldn’t give up spicy food completely, Seohyun joked, “How long are you planning to live?” — before quickly adding, “But I do want to live a long life,” making everyone laugh.

Seohyun is currently promoting her new movie The Holy Night: Demon Hunters, directed by Lim Dae Hee.
