• Song Kang mentions bold nude scene in ‘Sweet Home 2’ “I put in a lot of effort”

    Actor Song Kang mentioned the nude scene in “Sweet Home Season 2” On Nov 30th, the press conference of Netflix’s series “Sweet Home Season 2” was held at SFactory in Seongsu-dong, Seoul.

    Actors Song Kang, Lee Jin-wook, Lee Si-young, Go Min-si, Jinyoung, Yu Oh-seong, Kim Mu-yeol and director Lee Eung-bok attended the event.

    Song Kang, who takes on the lead role for Season 2 following Season 1, smiled when the nude scene was mentioned, saying, “My hands got sweaty.” He introduced, “I put in a lot of effort. It’s a scene that was created through a lot of conversations with the director.” Song Kang expressed his satisfaction, “It came out so beautifully. I’m satisfied.”

    He added, “I’m originally very shy. I’m still an I (MBTI Introverted). After shooting that scene, my shyness decreased by half. I’m sincerely grateful to the director for helping me grow.“ Director Lee Eung-bok praised Song Kang, “

    Actually, the most touching part for me in that scene is at the very end. It’s a scene where he shed tears while empathizing with monsters.

    Monsters don’t actually exist, but he made it so sad. In difficult and challenging situations, he can uplift emotions. He has become a truly wonderful actor.“

    In “Sweet Home Season 2”, set in a world where desires turn into monsters and away from the chaos of Green Home, Hyun-soo (Song Kang) and the survivors of Green Home each face their struggles to survive.

    The story unfolds with new desires, events and struggles, including the emergence of new entities and mysterious phenomena.

    In addition to Season 1 cast members Song Kang, Lee Jin-wook, Lee Si-young, Go Min-si and Park Gyu-young, actors Jinyoung, Yu Oh-seong, Oh Jung-se and Kim Mu-yeol joined, adding more fun. “Sweet Home Season 2” will be released on Netflix on December 1st.

    Lee Jun Young recently opened up about the emotional toll of playing a villain—and how one powerful scene made him break down in tears behind the scenes.

    On the May 1st episode of KBS 2TV’s variety show Problem Child in House, Lee Jun Young appeared alongside co-star Jung Eun Ji to promote their new KBS drama Pump Up the Healthy Love.

    During the show, Lee Jun Young was asked about the most unforgettable villain he’s played. He chose his role as Han Su Gang in the film Brave Citizen.

    He explained, “It was really tough to film. I had to act like I was leading school violence, and there was even a scene where I bullied a grandmother.”

    The hosts were surprised, pointing out how kind and gentle he seems in real life. Lee Jun Young shared how he transforms for such roles.

    “I try to act as bad as I can, but sometimes the director says, ‘You still look too nice.’ Then I focus even harder and adjust right away.”

    He also revealed that filming one particular scene hit him hard emotionally. “My real grandmother was sick at the time,” he said.

    “In one scene, there’s a grandma selling gimbap, and I ad-libbed by stubbing a cigarette out on the gimbap. I was really into character, but after filming, I just broke down. So many thoughts came to me and I started crying.”

    Fans praised his dedication to acting but also felt moved by how deeply the role affected him. Lee Jun Young’s honesty gave a raw look at how even fictional roles can hit close to home.
