  • Song Ji Hyo calls Kim Jong Kook “honey” again on 'Running Man' and fans can’t stop laughing at her nickname obsession

On the latest episode of Running Man, Song Ji Hyo once again surprised everyone by calling Kim Jong Kook “yeobo” — the Korean word for “honey” or “darling” — leaving both the cast and viewers in shock and laughter.

The episode, which aired on May 4, featured the cast traveling to Pocheon for a special race. But from the very beginning, something was different — Song Ji Hyo was nowhere to be seen.

The staff explained that she was driving herself to the shoot instead of coming with her manager. “It’s my first time in Pocheon,” she said, admitting that she took a wrong turn and arrived late.

When she finally showed up, out of breath from the journey, the members praised her determination, joking, “You really came all this way by yourself?”

During one of the missions, which involved crossing a shaky bridge, Kim Jong Kook playfully teased her — and that’s when Song Ji Hyo shouted, “Yeobo, don’t do that!” Her sudden use of the romantic term caught everyone off guard. The members burst into laughter, and Kim Jong Kook just smiled shyly in response.

This isn’t the first time Song Ji Hyo has used cute or unique nicknames. In the same episode, she called Daniel “Niel,” Ji Ye Eun “Ye Ni,” and, of course, Kim Jong KookYeobo,” showing how much she enjoys making up playful nicknames for others. The cast joked, “You’re just speaking your own language now,” and “You’re living in your own world!”

Netizens reacted with just as much amusement, commenting, “Did she really call him ‘yeobo’ again?”, “What does Kim Jong Kook call her back?”, and “Their chemistry is just too cute.”

Fans are once again buzzing about the pair’s sweet and funny interactions — and wondering if there’s more to it than just friendly teasing.
