• Actor Jisoo clarifies false accusations and resolves misunderstandings with accuser

Actor Jisoo recently addressed the cyber controversies that surrounded him in early 2021. Reports emerged that he was able to resolve misunderstandings with a middle school classmate who initially accused him of alleged school violence and sexual misconduct.

In 2021, Jisoo faced a series of accusations regarding bullying and sexual misconduct. These allegations were shared online before any substantial evidence was uncovered. Jisoo's representative later confirmed that the accusations were false.

"To minimize the impact on upcoming projects, Jisoo issued a handwritten apology after the initial accusations surfaced and withdrew from an ongoing drama series," said his representative.

However, the accusations escalated into a stream of malicious and false reports about Jisoo's sexual misconduct.

Despite taking legal action against the false claims, many authors deleted their posts and disappeared, leaving the actor to deal with significant damage to his reputation.

The first wave of accusations began in March 2021, with a shocking post on Jisoo's social media account, supposedly from the husband of a woman who claimed to have been wronged by Jisoo.

As the agency announced legal proceedings against the false article, the supposed accuser apologized and admitted to fabricating the allegations.

Subsequently, a false report emerged online, accusing Jisoo of luring and sexually assaulting a middle school girl.

However, the person who wrote the report quickly retracted their accusations and issued an apology.

Another false narrative gained attention on social media, this time from someone claiming to be Jisoo's high school classmate.

The anonymous individual alleged witnessing Jisoo engaging in inappropriate behavior. Once again, the post was swiftly deleted, leaving no room for legal action.

Jisoo's representative responded to the series of accusations with a strong statement, emphasizing that all allegations were false and baseless. Jisoo himself maintained his innocence and denied any wrongdoing.

Amidst the turmoil, Jisoo's former classmate came forward to defend him, stating, "Jisoo, who aspired to be an actor, was very cautious about his school life. Even as a popular figure, he always maintained respectful relationships with his peers."

Jisoo, who temporarily halted his career due to the accusations, mutually terminated his contract with KeyEast in May. After completing his mandatory service in July, Jisoo is currently not scheduled for any appearances.

Ending on a positive note, Jisoo mentioned that after a lengthy discussion with the classmate who initially accused him, they have reached an understanding and now support each other's future endeavors.

  • TWICE’s Jihyo buys a 4 billion won building in her 20s, proving she's one of the youngest wealthy stars

TWICE’s Jihyo has made headlines after purchasing a building worth a staggering 4 billion won in her 20s.

On May 2, Herald Economy reported that Jihyo bought a building in Seongdong-gu, Seongsu-dong 2-ga, Seoul, in early March of last year.

By the end of that month, she had completed the full payment and transferred ownership, with no mortgage attached, suggesting that the property was purchased entirely with cash.

Just a month after the purchase, Jihyo registered as a housing rental business operator and completed the registration for private rental housing.

As a housing rental business operator, she is eligible for tax benefits, such as reduced acquisition tax. However, she is also subject to certain regulations, including a 5% cap on rent increases, compliance with rental periods, and mandatory insurance for tenant deposits.

The building, which was built in 1986, has a land area of 152㎡ (45.98 pyeong) and a total floor area of 330.21㎡ (99.89 pyeong). It includes one basement level and three floors above ground.

The property is situated in Seongsu Strategic Redevelopment Zone 2, an area currently undergoing redevelopment.

Given the area's future potential, it is believed that Jihyo's investment is more focused on the property's long-term value rather than immediate rental income.
